Flo Got Stoned

Getting to the Disneyland Resort just a little bit after 10:00am opening...

No problem, right?

Wow.. It feels so busy!  Do the walls creating a narrow pathway into Disney California Adventure have anything to do with it?

The Toy Store closed, ready for its transformation for Buena Vista Street

Looking at the Carthay Circle Theatre

Walls extend around the corner along the Golden Zephyr train

The Golden Zephyr being removed to make way for Buena Vista Street

The Condor Flats sign slooowwwly rotating

From 9:30am-11:00am Taste Pilots Grill in Condor Flats serves breakfast for Guests

Soon to be used for as a temporary walkway for Disney California Adventure while work is being done in the front for its Buena Vista Street transformation

There were a lot of people in the pathways, that it was important to get to Mickey's Fun Wheel so that my friend and I could get a gondola to ourselves.  It seems as though a lot of Guests were getting on Grizzly River Run because just after opening, it posted a 20 min wait.

Made it to Mickey's Fun Wheel and got a gondola to ourselves :)

Work on Cars Land continuing

Flo's V8 Cafe stone work along the walls

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree shack is now enclosed with wood

Luigi's Flying Tires building getting some more details added

The topper of this rock formation is getting a bit orange

Some wooden poles have been placed over at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree

Work continues with Radiator Springs Racers

I wonder if these poles have anything to do with the string lights that hang above the vehicles

Stacked tires at Luigi's

The wide-open top of Willy's Butte

One child playing in the water before it is eventually turned off for "Disney Channel Rocks!"

Another look at the poles at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree from the Parade Route

Checking out the "backside" of Carthay Cirlce Theatre from the old Mission Tortilla Factory

Seems like quite a bit can be seen from the patio of the Blue Sky Cellar

Oh, I know what's missing.  There used to be a wall just after Mater's Junkyard Jamboree.  But because there is no longer backstage foot traffic between Maters and the rest of Cars Land, the wall isn't needed

More rock work on Flo's

"Pump House"

Over at the Bug's Land entrance next to Tower of Terror, we see...

Gypsy.  Mesmerizing those around with her wings to step inside and visit "a bugs land"

From Hollywood Pictures Backlot street, we can see some painting being done to some rocks near the entrance to Condor Flats

The Annual Passholder section is now gone from Greetings From California store

Another look at the bridge.  This reminds me more of a train crossing bridge

In a couple weeks, this temporary passage will be used for Guests while work is done for Buena Vista Street

Disneyland

The Disneyland Monorail broke down while my friend and I were walking up the ramp. The Cast Members did not know how long it was going to take. So we headed over by the Matterhorn.  We stopped for a while in the shade.  From our vantage point, I could see the top of the Monorail in the station.  About 5-10 min later, I noticed the Monorail wasn't there.  I started to head back to the station, and as I was over by Nemo, I could see people walking up the ramp. :)

From the Monorail, looking at the work being done in front of the Carthay Circle Theatre

I thought I would be able to sit on the side facing the entrance to Disney California Adventure on the way back. But while the Monorail was still in the Tomorrowland station, more people started coming and the Cast Members used the cabin I was in.  I was hoping some would get off at Downtown Disney station, but no one did.  Third week in a row where I had to turn around in my seat to try and get shots of Disney California Adventure entrance

Not to bad shots from turning around in my seat

That will conclude today's Disneyland Resort pictorial

Thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate your patience and checking it out. :)

Until next time....
