What If - Disney California Adventure Ticket Book

While looking at old Disneyland ticket books on Google the other day, I thought to myself what if Disney California Adventure had ticket books.  At first, I was just going to do an "E" ticket. But as I was working on it, I thought I might has well try and make a somewhat complete A-E tickets.

This project was mainly for fun.  I just took same prices from old tickets between the 1960's and the 1970's and adjusted them with inflation.  This is just my opinion of what letter each attraction would get assigned.  This is in no way to be taken 100% literally.

The attractions that are not listed such as The Bakery Tour or Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar are pretty much complimentary.

Thanks for stopping by. :)

Until next time...

What An Unusual View

It is a little after 7:20 when I am waken up by a strange noise.  As I lay in bed, I realize it is just a helicopter and think nothing of it.  But then my roommate mentions that there is a helicopter hovering above Disneyland. I look out the window and indeed see a helicopter.

I sprang from my bed to try and get some snapshots. Because I was still half asleep, I didn't have the camera on the right settings.

So here is the helicopter. If drops behind the hotels there

After some time, it lifts something up.

Why, it's an elephant! A Jungle Cruise elephant

The helicopter takes a short ride and appears to set it somewhere behind Disneyland.

After some investigation, I found out that an African bull elephant was removed from the Jungle Cruise, taken to the backside of Disneyland by helicopter (as seen from the pictures) and from there it will be moved to the Animation Shop.

Ah, the joys of living near Disneyland :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Goofy's Sky School Day Time Testing

May 23, 2011 -

Testing was being done over at Goofy's Sky School.  All the testing I had seen taken place were just short night time clips on YouTube or pictures. The past couple of weeks while visiting Disney California Adventure, I had seen them doing what appeared to be brake testing with the vehicles from Mickey's Fun Wheel. But by the time I got off that attraction and headed over to Goofy's, they were not doing it any more.

So on May 23, as I was heading past the Little Mermaid attraction, I saw vehicles running along the track.  It pretty much is just Mulholland Madness with a make over, but it is a little exciting to know that in a little over a month, Goofy's Sky School should be in operation for Guests to fly.

Monday, Sometimes It Just Turns Out That Way

Because of circumstances taking place, I will be unable to get to the Disneyland Resort this coming Thursday, May 26, 2011.  And seeing my situation, this morning looked to be the only time this week for me to head to the Resort.

So I got up early to get started on my day.

Looking outside my bedroom window, it looks like the Radiator Springs Racers track pieces are finally being taken to the Cars Land site

Those track pieces have been behind the Toy Story Parking Lot for a very long time.

I decided to just walk to the Resort. And by 10:20 there was a line to get into Disney California Adventure

Many people were being turned away today from riding Star Tours because...

... it was AP previews for the attraction.

Not only can Duffy be bought inside Disneyland, but it appears he is also a Graduating bear

Thanks for stopping by
It looks like the next time I will visit the Resort will be on June2, 2011.  If I am able to get to the Resort before that date, I will tweet it :)
