Hello there M.E. Readers.
Sorry I have been absent from my Disneyland Resort pictorials.
If you have been following me on Twitter, Instagram, and a bit on Facebook, you would have noticed that I was on the other side of the world, in Hong Kong. Visiting Hong Kong Disneyland, of course. ... and the city.
Anyways, I am back and ready for another day at the Disneyland Resort.
In case you are wondering, I will have pictorials up of my Hong Kong Disneyland trip. With a lot of pictures, time difference to readjust to, and today's pictorial, there's just a lot going on at the moment.
But I will start with what is familiar on a Friday, and that's this weeks Disneyland Resort pictorial.
So what are we waiting for?
Let's go!
Starting out at Disney California Adventure
I just got there as the rope was dropped
Fun! Fun! FUN!
Riding Mickey's Fun Wheel, we see testing taking place at Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters
Here is a small clip of the vehicle being tested.
Sorry about the shakiness. I was in the stationary cabin. But if anyone has ever been in those, just the slightest body movement, wind, or vibration (from the loading and unloading being done below), it can rock the gondola just enough to where it's hard to keep it steady.
Fresh painting taking place in Paradise Park
Dont' foget to...
...drop in
Force Friday took place where it was the release of new Star Wars merchandise for the new movie " Star Wars - The Force Awakens"
BB8 is everywhere
The windows on Buena Vista Street's Elias and Company get a little in the Halloween spirit
From a distance I thought "Laundry detergent"?
Upon closer inspection, it's just a misting fan
Oh Mater
Now you can take home a delicious, sweet, plastic, non-edible churro home with you
Cinderella slipper pen
Spinning World of Color pen
Hey wait!
Doesn't Kermit have a new girlfriend now?
Does this mean that Kermit and Miss Piggy are back together?
Hand santizers
Diamond edition Disneyland 60th ornament
Disneyland
Never stop dreaming
Haunted Mansion getting ready for Haunted Mansion Holiday
Even with Force Friday, the wait for Star Tours wasn't bad during this time. It was only a 25 min wait
"New" popcorn cart
The Rocketeer has been replaced with a female astronaut
Does this make her the first female roastie-toastie to rotate a popcorn drum?
Innoventions becoming the Star Wars Landing Bay.
The Marvel banners on the second level have been removed
I think my heart just skipped a beat
Well, almost all the Marvel banners have been removed
Stormtroppers out and about
More Force Friday Star Wars merchandise
Vintage postcard.
Too bad the charm bracelet ruins it
Forget about the Pope house being saved.
What about the Skyway Chalet?
I hope it doesn't fall victim to the new Star Wars Land that will take up residents where the Big Thunder Ranch is now
Why bother to entertain you.
We are being evicted at the end of the year.
I'm just gonna sit here and do nothing for the rest of the coming days
I'll go myself to the dwarfs cottage in a disguise so complete, no one will ever suspect
Don't forget to spend even more $$$ for a private event
Tokyo Disneyland's 2005 Pumpkin Party themed statues are once again being used at the Disneyland Resort for the ninth year
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time
Welcome back to California! Saw the photos of the tram station in Hong Kong on your FB page. Looking forward to seeing photos of Hong Kong and HK Disneyland.
ReplyDeleteAbout the plastic churro for sale: I am reminded of a visit to Las Vegas a few years ago. In the Coca Cola store near MGM, they were selling Christmas ornaments that looked exactly like empty Coke cans. I thought, what's the point? Similarly, who would want to buy a plastic churro? Unless it was a gag, to have a churro sitting on your table that someone tries to take a bite from.
I enjoyed the caption with the goat in Big Thunder Ranch. Somehow I kept thinking about the phrase "lame duck." Though I read that the ranch will be used for the holiday season this November and December (but not the upcoming Halloween season) before it's closed for good in early January.
I also try to take photos of the Skyway station when I visit. Still beautiful all these years after being closed. Although it would be nice if it could be moved to another site (Walt's barn in Griffith Park?), I think it's probably just waiting for a project to come along before TDA decides to tear it down.
@Spiff The plastic churro is a fridge magnet. They also have mickey ice cream bar, mickey pretzel, turkey leg, and mickey waffle magnets.
