We are into the first week of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.
Heading into Disney California Adventure
Heading towards Mickey's Fun Wheel
Guests having a screaming good time
Looking towards Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters
Boardwalk treatment next to Treasures in Paradise
I wonder if Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters will have the same height requirement or a different one
The Monsters U props have been taken down in this corner of Hollywood Land.
It's now back to being plain.
Heading into Disneyland
Keep your eyes peeled in Adventureland.
Cause if you do and look closely, you too can see where the Little Mad of Disneyland lives
Anybody home?
When I walked by the info board, it stated that Haunted Mansion Holiday was temporarily closed. But as I walked through New Orleans Square, it had reopened.
I thought I would get a FastPass
But the FastPass distribution was still closed.
There was a Cast Member inside, but I don't know if the CM was stocking the machines or just trying to get them on.
'Twas a long time ago
Longer now than it seems
In a place that perhaps you've seen in your dreams
For the story that you are about to be told
Began with the Holiday worlds of old
I know your curious to see what's inside
It's what happens when two holidays collide
Do you see what I see?
I see a scary face looking down at me
Yup, scary
Tell me when this "nightmare" end
Some Guests are all dressed up
Some Spanish moss hangs from the trees surrounding the patio of Cafe Orleans
Main Street style popcorn cart near "it's a small world"
Look at those bright orange and purple umbrellas
Disneyland had been open for a couple of hours and Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage was practically a walk on
So many dapper people
Oh! Is it Dapper Day?
The clothing style of days gone by with technology of today
Happy Dapper Day!
Happy Dapper Day.
Doing the Princess wave while riding on the Main Street Fire Engine
"Debrah, why are there a lot of couple dressed up?"
"I don't know Sarah. It must be some sort of event"
"It all makes me wish we got all dressed up"
A family sitting and enjoying treats from the Tiki Juice Bar
It's Darth "Bear"der
With his light saber
Whoa! Watch where you point that, will ya
Refurbishment or Removal ?
I'm guessing refurbishment
In case you get lost and don't know how to get around the walls
Well, my ride is here
So this will conclude today's Disneyland Resort pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
I miss the full resolution images. :(
ReplyDeleteFixed. Sorry about that.
DeleteThanks!
DeleteThanks for the full screen pics...it makes it feel like I am there! Sometimes when I click on the pic to see it full screen...it shade out the screen and it goes into a slide type show. Its tough to get the feel when the pic is small like that.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pics. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteThank you for enjoying them :D
DeleteOn our last trip, we were walking by the former Luigi's, and I saw a place to peek over the top of the fence. The orange test car was sitting there, on the far (north) side of the former tire movement area. I guess I was lucky that security didn't come to escort me out.
ReplyDeleteDo you think the new vehicle testing is mostly being done before the park opens? Maybe they stop testing the car once the park starts to get crowded? I didn't follow your blog before Cars Land opened in 2012, but I'm guessing you were taking photos of the park testing the upcoming rides like Mater's and Luigi's.
Who knows how early Walt Disney Imagineering arrives at Luigi's before Disney California Adventure opens. Testing probably goes on for most of the day. But there is so much more than just actual vehicle movement that goes into testing. So right now, with just one car in the area, we aren't seeing a whole lot of movement.
DeleteWith one car, it's probably like, program all the different features they want from the car. Test it out. Make adjustments (which can take minutes to hours because of all the software code that has to be implemented). Test some more. Once they have the basics of what they need, they may start to bring in more cars. And as the process continues, with more and more cars, that's when we may start to see a lot more action taking place. But don't quote me on any of this. This is just speculation and ideas.
Did you see that Disneyland will be closing the Rivers of America (including the Mark Twain and Columbia, canoes, and rafts to Tom Sawyer Island), along with Fantasmic and the Disneyland Railroad for a year or possibly more for construction on the new Star Wars land?
DeleteI would have thought the railroad and Mark Twain would have been good places to try to peek in on the Star Wars land construction. It's too bad there's not a giant Ferris Wheel in Disneyland. I can't think of anyplace in Disneyland with much of a view of that back area of the park.
There is nothing Dapper about clip on suspenders and bow ties.
