Summer 2014 Is Gradually Winding Down at the Disneyland Resort

Summer is winding down at the Disneyland Resort.  Soon Halloween Time will kick into gear.  And because Halloween Time will be starting roughly the second week of September, Halloween decor is starting to slow-l-l-l-l-y-y-y-y-y appear.

These pictures are from yesterday (Saturday) as I was out of town on Friday and had enough time on Saturday to visit the Disneyland Resort, but didn't have enough time to post them.

Let's start our visit

On this day, we are starting the day off at Disneyland








It's Pumpkinham Lincoln


The facade of the Disney Showcase, up to the Music Pin shop is getting worked on




















With the facade of the Castle Bros completed, Wheelchairs, strollers, and Electric Convenience Vehicles are can easily roam the street.  Yet, this sign (that was placed when the facade was being worked on) is still up inside the store


Last week, the porch here  had its yearly Fall / Halloween decor.
As you can see, it's all been taken away for now

The past couple of weeks, I could hear some strange music coming from inside the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost.
I knew it was mainly to attraction Guests passing by to stop inside and check out the Adventure Trading Company interactive game
On this particular morning, the Cast Members were out and about playing the instruments




They even let a few younger Guests get in on the act

Why is there a trash can right in the middle here


Uh Oh, is Frozen's popularity starting to fade?
I mean, the line to meet Anna and Elsa is only 2 hours and not to typical 3 to 4 hour wait.

Over at Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage...


"We're cleaning up the neighborhood"
Yup!
That's what they have been doing since the attraction went down earlier in the year
Contrary to what some may say, there has been working activity (whether we could see it or not) this whole time at the attraction

As you will see, scaffolding has been removed.
Soon water will once again fill the lagoon

Now we head over to Disney California Adventure









Now both wooden structures near Toy Story Midway Mania are being refurbished




Oh, it looks like the Cozy Cone Motel has the fountain off
Probably to conserve water since we are in a drought




Oh, no wonder why there isn't any water at the cone wheel at the Cozy Cone Motel is because the faucet has sprung a leak!


And more puddles of water can be seen!
