On April 28, 2011 the scaffolding around the new Seaside Souvenirs were taken down to reveal a teal color lighthouse.
I will say that I wasn't impressed by the color scheme. So I thought different ideas of "what if..."
During re-theming of the souvenir stand
An idea of how I may have done the souvenir stand.
Of course, during this posting the souvenir store has not been completed. So I will wait and see how it turns out.

Star Tours's New Mural
Over at Disneyland, Star Tours received the new mural to correspond with Star Tours: The Adventure Continues.
Because so many people who were entering Tomorrowland stops between Astro Orbitor and Buzz Lightyear, I couldn't get a decent shot as though you were looking in
I think this is still a decent shot of the mural
The only difference are the StarSpeeders. They are now StarSpeeder 1000 instead of StarSpeeder 3000
That will conclude for this short pictorial
Thanks for stopping by
Until next time...

Construction Progress In The Land
With reports that the week following Easter Sunday have been slow, and taking a look out the window at the Toy Story Parking Lot, I didn't feel that I needed to "rush" over early to the Disneyland Resort
Even just taking some time, my friend and I were able to get there a little after 10:30am.
Once at the Main Entry Plaza, all was very quiet.
Heading inside to California Adventure
Is this the start of the "pump house"?
Looking back at Carthay as we make our way to Paradise Pier
The Little Mermaid attraction building
The light poles in front of the Little Mermaid attraction receive their bubble machines
Scaffolding has been taken down to reveal a new paint scheme for the Seaside Souvenirs lighthouse
- Mickey's Fun Wheel -
Looking at Cars Land construction
Themed bubble railing underneath the arch. There also seems to be a couple of poles with rope "queue" right behind it.
Corn Dog Castle with some scaffolding
The trees between Goofy's Sky School and Corn Dog Castle have some small railings around their base
Is Disney Channel Rocks worth putting on for 35 people
Mater's Junkyard Jamboree's progress
An overview of spectators watching Disney Channel Rocks.
Is this wooden fence extended queue for Goofy's Sky School?
I don't think this was the best color scheme choice for the Seaside Treasures stand
What is up with all the blue again?
Bubble Gum and Cotton Candy Flavor
Trying to get a peek at the Little Mermaid sign
Bubble machines have appeared over at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot
Wow! The marquee's missing neon looks to be completed now
Don't miss!
Supposedly not a whole lot of people are venturing back in this area for the many showings of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 3D sneak peek.
The tarps are down from the Disneyland Emporium and Crystal Arcade
The Innoventions sign is back, but this is not the entrance
Riding the monorail to catch a glimpse of the Carthay Circle Theatre construction
The building next to the Mark Twain boat dock
Setting up for the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides movie premier at Disneyland
The Columbia ship is docked
For the setup of bleachers, ropes are all that is needed to protect Guests
With the setup down in front of Pirates of the Caribbean, the Veranda has been used as a temporary stroller parking area
Guest Control Cast Members have been set up all along the Rivers edge to answer questions and to keep watch
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate it.
