Tinks Float Lights Out

As they say, "The Show Must Go On".  And it did with Disney's Electrical Parade in Disney's California Adventure.

On August 5, 2009 The leading Tinkerbell Float had a small malfunction. The majority of lights were completely off, leaving only the balloon and the twinkle lights on. Of course, Tink was lit up as usual, but with the float being "dark", it was hard to see her.
At 8:45, the introduction fanfare began and the music started. But the parade gates remained closed. It wasn't until the third repeat of the song did the parade gates open and the leading Tink float came out.   And this is what it looked like...

  2. Thats actually how the float is lit up in standby mode. Its becoming increasingly familiar to have something wrong with that float. I remember when I worked at PT Fleas the floats had to stop for about a good 15 mins before they started moving again.
