The Dreams Of Tomorrow Are Beginning Today At The Disneyland Resort

Walking to the Disneyland Resort, the weather sure looked gloomy.
But the weather app stated that any type of rain would fall sometime afternoon.

Boy was I taken by surprise.


Disneyland and Disney California Adventure opened at 9 am.
I was expecting it to be a mad house since the marathon was taking place

But when I got to the Main Gates at 8:50 am, I was able to walk right on in with little to no wait.
And overall it didn't look too bad when walking down Main Street USA


Big Thunder Mountain delayed opening


Pirates of the Caribbean having a delayed opening


The C.K. Holiday is parked at the New Orleans Square train station.
This is my favorite locomotive




But I couldn't get inside to get a closer look at the time as the entrance to the station still had the chains up.


Can you believe that behind the tarp is the uncovered balcony seating for the Hungry Bear Restaurant


Checking out the flat, dry river for Star Wars Land

Man, the West Side of the Park isn't cooperating this morning





Over at the Jungle Cruise, it has reopened from its refurbishment


Wave goodbye to all the passengers aboard


No more netting around the rails. You can now get a clear view of all the animals again

If I am looking right, the refurbishment included the boats now being hugged by two docks
Before, there was more of gap on the spur dock than before.








Now, it had been raining for about 10 - 15 minutes
And Tarzan Treehouse was still open!
So I took advantage of it to climb the treehouse to see what I can see of Star Wars Land

I wasn't prepared for the rain.
I had no umbrella and no jacket

I needed to keep dry as much as possible

Oh! I know what I can do.
New characters are to appear at Turtle Talk with Crush.
So I can go to Disney California Adventure and check it out, and I can be dry.

Now I just have to get over there














Hank (from Finding Dory) made a quick appearance

Leaving the Animation Building, the rain had stopped.
Yes!




The Sunset Showcase Theater is hosting the sneak peek of Alice Through The Looking Glass
As you can see, props from the Mad T Party are being reused for this preview

  










Inside it's a little bit it's a little bit Wonderland and whole lot of Arendale






These were used at D23 Expo 2015 to help promote Alice Through The Looking Glass

Heading back to Disneyland to see if there's a chance of Big Thunder opening

Looking at the Big Thunder Trail and see nothing but dirt

















Big Thunder trains were being sent through the mountain.
Soon after, the attraction opened

Wanna get out of the Resort before it rains again
But first, have to go to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure for Star Wars Land pictures
