Join in the Magic, There's Plenty for Everyone

I love going to the Disneyland Resort for the Magic, which I always find there. So join in as we take a ride to the Disneyland Resort!

Walking to the Parks to see progress on the Astro Orbitor.  Looks like white primer

That's funny. Only King Triton's Carousel is closed today?? I just saw parts of the Astro Orbitor backstage as I walked. Hopefully those are the only two things closed for today.

Some construction shots

Some LED lights directly behind Mickey's Face.

A little more than half of the queue is being occupied for a trip around the Fun

Some shots while on the Fun Wheel

Looks like they are working on the section where Cast Members park

Christmas Tree Pointe

Future Cars Land... or whatever it will be called

Close up of Christmas Tree Point

Those "Wall•E" lights might be what light up Mickey's Face

The Main Entrance for the Fun Wheel. I think it would have better if the area were dressed up a bit more.  I guess it kind of fits in with the Paul Pressler store fronts that are right across the street.

Some new lamps along the future restrooms

As it got hotter, the line got longer.

Now it's time to head over to Disneyland.

The wall was taken down to reveal... a water fountain. Is this where the pipes from Cosmic Waves went to?  I know Disney likes to recycle.

So Astro Orbitor is definately closed, yet it's not listed out front.

The walls around Pixie Hallow are down

The new design in the pond

More LEDs

I think these "vines" of LEDs will be placed along the branches of the tree.

LEDs leading up to Tink

Whoa! What?? Peter Pan's Flight is closed too?? But the sign outside didn't mention that.

And Star Tours is closed too?  I wonder what's going on with Star Tours.  Hang on, let me find out.  ... ... ... So it seems that it was just some maintenance going on. Some of the queue will get non-skid to prevent slips from happening. After all, it doesn't take a lot of water to cause a slip on the surface of the queue. And some minor things like lighting were being done.

With four attractions closed, Disneyland needs to step up their game and notify the Cast Members involved with the sign at the bag check so they can let their Guests know before hand.
