Notice anything about it?
The name of the little roadside stop is called Cool Springs. Cool Springs sounds familiar. Could it be that I am thinking of Radiator Springs from Pixar's film Cars?
The start of Radiator Springs began with Stanley and him founding "Stanley's Oasis". The little town include a bottle garage for the oil, Stanley's Oil and Lube service center, and Stanley's Cap and Tap, all next to "Nature's No Foolin' Coolant", the natural springs that hydrates cars that need it.
Stanley's Oil and Lube is also depicted inside the queue for Radiator Springs Racers at Disney California Adventure
Sorry for these pictures not being the best in quality. A good friend of mine was able to supply these to me from his camera phone
Cool Springs also looks to be the inspiration for Stanley's Oil and Lube service station.
Just like in Stanley's, Cool Springs is the place to grab some food and to service your car as you through the Black Mountains.
I just thought it was cool to see the real life places that were inspirations for Pixar's Cars
Where I Came from is The High Desert. Barstow.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Cool!!! Thanks for posting this! We have only been in the single rider line so far so I haven't seen this part of the line queue yet :) Disney always does such a great job at making the line queue interesting on these huge rides! I remember when Indiana Jones first opened, I was blown away by the fact that the line itself seemed like part of the ride and its experience! Thanks again! I love Cars Land!!!!
