Good day everyone!
And welcome to another Disneyland Resort Pictorial this week.
Did you miss me last week?
I know I missed you guys.
I did go to the Disneyland Resort the day after Thanksgiving, but nothing was going on, or at least nothing worth taking pictures of. That's why there wasn't a pictorial last Friday.
But this week is different as interesting stuff around the Resort is taking place
Let's begin....
Walking through Downtown Disney, it's obvious that Disney doesn't want us to forget that we can experience Frozen in a whole new way, with a Frozen sing-along Edition DVD. It would make a great holiday gift
Stepping through the gates of Disneyland...
You'll notice vintage style Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto up on top of the Main Street Train Station Depot ... ice skating??
Doesn't make sense really. But their function is to hide the Candlelight Setup
It's that time of year again where Candlelight takes place that the Main Street Station
Beau Bridges will narrate 2014's Candlelight
Candlelight themed rope flags
"What's that long line for?" Everyone asks as they walk down Main Street U.S.A.
We'll follow it to see where it goes...
It's for the hand made Candy Canes at the Candy Palace
Walking through Frontierland, and into New Orleans Square
Taking a look at the River Belle Terrace
For those who purchased the Fantasmic dinner package, this will be seating for those who request it to watch the show
Does this seating area even offer great views?
I hardly every pay attention to this area anymore during Fantasmic, as I don't really watch the show all that often.
When I hear River Belle Terrace and Fantasmic in the same sentence, I am brought back to the late 90's, when people would buy dinner and then "camp" out on the patio for quite some time.
By doing that, it left no room for those who actually wanted to eat dinner there and sit out on the patio.
Of course, of those people who wanted to eat dinner at River Belle, more than half of them thought that they would be able to secure a table 10 or 15 minutes before show time...because they are eating there.
Yeah, that's a smart plan.
And then when their plan backfires, they complain how it wasn't fair for those who have already eaten to be sitting at the tables, watching the show.
A wreath graces the Club 33 off centered window.. from the inside
Over at the Royal Courtyard, the doors have been closed as they continue the courtyard's refurbishment
The pumpkin scarecrow "behind bars"
People sure do love to get wet, even in the cooler weather
Over hear, I hear Christmas background music and beehive doors being shut
Walking along Big Thunder Trail, I know they are going to set up the Fantasmic! FastPass over here...
But where?
I'm on the look out for componets
And I think I found it
Continuing my walk along the Big Thunder Trail, I run into the line to get a Return Time Ticket to meet Anna and Elsa
Close up of the Skyway Chalet
Landscaping taking place
A scrim has been place along the Casey Jr tracks to prevent anyone from peaking inside
Some marker flags near Toad Hall
No Stroller Parking
No Stroller Parking
No Stroller Parking
Riding the Disneyland Monorail, catching a glimpse of them turning the Hollywood Studio's courtyard into a Frozen themed area
With the scrim and tree branches, can't really see much taking place inside Storybook Land
"Watch your tuning, will you please. We have to get this perfect. No mistakes"
"You, of all people, think you can out sing me?"
"Well, I'll show ya"
"Umm.. [laughs] Does she know she's singing off key?"
Stand back you fools!
Heading inside Disney California Adventure
Walking in Hollywood Land
They have walled off the Hollywood Studios portion
The Muppet Vision 3D marquee has been taken down
If you want to get to Monsters Inc, you must use the entry way at the end of Hollywood Blvd
Have to go inside the Animation Building.
Not because of the Character Closeup being behind a wall, but...
..because I have to go through Ursula's Grotto
As I exit, it will also conclude this weeks Disneyland Resort Pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a response
Until Next Time...
Thanks again for a great picture tour of what's going on at the Disneyland Resort, they are always informative and fun. Frozen is being pushed into the ground just like they did with Toy Story. It will be the current big thing until the next big thing comes along. The fans are so fickle.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Frozen ... but it does get a bit tiring of hearing Frozen this, Frozen that.
DeleteI watched the Frozen show three times. I really want Muppet Vision 3D to come back.
DeleteGlad to see you back, I missed you last friday! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I did take some pictures last week, but looking them over, I wasn't too impressed. With it being Thanksgiving week, I had a feeling "nothing" would be going on. But as the weekend went on, I felt that somehow I was short changing my readers. So it was nice to get back into the swing of things for my readers.
DeleteI really hope Muppet Vision 3D will be coming back because I seen the Frozen Sing-Along three times, and Inreally don't like to hear the Let it Go song. Next year that they will have the Frozen Musical, and pretty sure that it's similar to the song along show, will that means that the Muppet Vision 3D is going to come back? I'm going to Walt Disney World in the winter break to watch the Muppet Vision 3D.
