Christmas Time is well underway at the Disneyland Resort.
And as you will see, with the Parks in Holiday mode, not a whole lot to "report" on.
We'll just wander the Parks a bit
Starting off at Disneyland today.
Have a hunch that I need to check something out in this Park before a lot of people show up in that particular area
Making my way down Main Street U.S.A.
First stop is Space Mountain
But not to ride it....
... but to check out the exit.
But why the exit?
Didn't you already cover this before?
Why yes I did.
But you will soon see some new things that have been added to the exit that weren't there before.
I wanted to check out the exit before Guests got here.
Luckily for me, Space Mountain was delayed a bit on opening, so it gave me a chance to get some shots
New benches have been placed
Decorative plates above the emergency exit doors
The darker grey on the bottom portion of the wall
That's there to protect the wall from getting damaged with holes from wheelchairs and electric convenience vehicle
Big Hero 6 Meet and Greet
Sleeping Beauty Castle
You would think Disney would be a pro when it comes to force prospective
So I never understand why this garland that's on this spire is the same size as the rest of the Castle's garland.
I would imagine that as it goes up the spire, the garland would get smaller
Over in New Orleans Square, as work continues on the Royal Courtyard, they have covered up the entire entry way.
Previously, only the gate portion was covered.
Now it from the top of the arch, to the bottom
To get a Fast Pass for Haunted Mansion Holiday, you must...
1) Board the Disneyland Railroad
2) Get off on the 4th stop.
3) Exit the station and it will be on your left side
....
...
Or you can just follow this sign which will lead you to the Fast Pass
The Fantasyland Fruit cart tents have returned
For Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, they had this check in counter outside near the back side Sleeping Beauty Castle.
I didn't step inside the store to see if something was going on inside
I see Carthay!
It appears as though this horse is getting into the "Frozen" mania with the braided blond hair
The Disneyland band playing Christmas music in Town Square
You can be Anna with your brown hair
With the Jingle Cruise this Holiday season, the tunnels still show the Jungle Cruise attraction poster
You know what though...
I wonder if the Haunted Mansion poster is being displayed while Haunted Mansion Holiday is taking place.
Heading inside Disney California Adventure
Mad T Party is about to come to an end at the end of November
Hollywood Land will be transformed with a Frozen theme
Along with the Character Close Up being used as a Meet and Greet for Frozen, and the Muppet Vision 3D being used for a Sing-A-Long, supposedly an ice skating rink will take place inside Stage 17
These Nutcrackers are everywhere this season
The snowflake lights have received garland to hide the tape that holds it to the lamp post
Last Sunday, gusts of wind came through the Disneyland Resort.
And a strong enough gust came right through Radiator Springs and knocked the top half off the hubcap Christmas Tree that used to stand on the left side of the Courthouse
I am not a fan of Operation Playtime featuring the Green Army Men
But because the car has a Christmas tag, *snap*, got a picture
Since I am in the area, I am going to hang out for a bit and watch one of my favorite Holiday offerings at Disney California Adventure
Viva Navidad
Donald stares as the dancers embrace in a "kiss"
She may have a prettier dress, but I dance way better
Don't think I know what you are thinking!
Girls please!
Leave the drama behind the gates
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Until Next Time..
Disneyland is always such a festive place this time of year. It was nice back in August but the Christmas transformation is quite spectacular. Nice images!
