Frozen Fun isn't suppose to start until tomorrow, on a Saturday.
That's also including the new Arendelle scene is suppose to debut at Storybook Land at Disneyland
But I have a feeling that Disneyland may open Storybook Land a day earlier
Waiting to get inside Disneyland
Walking down Main Street U.S.A.
Will the meet and greet of Anna and Elsa return to Fantasyland after its run in Disney California Adventure?
My first stop is Storybook Land
Storybook Land re-opened one day earlier
First one on
Making our way through Monstro's mouth
And in the distance, we can see the new Arendelle scene from Frozen
The boringest part of Storybook Land ... the patchwork quilt
In the distance, we see Toad Hall and to the right, we can see Elsa's snow castle
Arendelle's Castle, where Anna and Elsa live
The Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna
Elsa's Castle
These ducks want to check out the new Arendelle scene too!
What if Disney placed Elsa's snow castle on the side of the Matterhorn.
That way when you are on Storybook Land, and you see Arendelle, you can see Elsa's Castle on the side of a mountain top
Here we have Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes ... also known as the "Let It Row" Experience
Fantasmic! Dining Options at the Hungry Bear Restaurant
Candy Cane wrist bands were still being handed out
Walking through Sleeping Beauty Castle to go on Storybook Land one more time for the day
They even have the trolls home
Walking to Disney California Adventure now...
Soon there will be Frozen Fun taking place in Hollywood Land
Walls still block the area
"Soft Previews" strart Dec 20, 2014
The actual official opening is Jan 7, 2015
The portable FastPass, or Return Time Ticket traveling distribution machine outside the Animation Building
One side Frozen, the other side Mad T
Slowly converting Mad T into Frozen overlay
With sneak peeks the latest craze at the Disneyland Resort, I'm surprised that they didn't transform "it's tough to be a bug" into a sneak peek for "Into the Woods"
But it looks like Hopper is glad that they didn't change his attraction into a some quick commercial gimmick
For the time being, Visa cardholders from Chase have a private character meet and greet inside the Blue Sky Cellar
The reason for this is because the private meet and greet used to be over by Stage 12 at Hollywood Land. But because that area is being transformed into Frozen Fun, they had to move it to another available spot
Some 9 or 10 year old girl actually yelled out "Olaf!" as she pointed to the car
The hubcapped Christmas tree has returned in front of the Radiator Springs Courthouse
Going to ride the Disneyland Monorail to catch a glimpse behind the construction walls, and then take off for home from there.
We can see the "For the First Time in Forever" A Frozen Sing Along Celebration has been painted on the Muppet Vision 3D marquee.
It reminds me of what Walt Disney World would do, as it looks very plain (right now).
In front of Olaf's Snow Fest, there is a tree with ornaments on it
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Until Next Time...
Maybe I'm just being nitpicky, but I don't like the way those cliffs behind Arendelle look. In the picture it looks like the grass atop the cliffs is fake, so it sort of has a plastic-y look to it, which clashes with all of the lush, real grass and greenery in Storybook Land. Is that grass up on the cliff actually fake?
ReplyDeleteOther than that, it seems to fit in quite nicely!
Spectacular photos of the castle and Storybook Land miniatures!
ReplyDeleteI love all the photos! I've been homesick for disneyland! I just got back from Florida for the holidays and we made a stop to Disneyworld. NOT the same!! I have some photos of that trip on my blog if you're interested :)
