World of Color recently passed 4 years of operation. Can you believe that these flags have been up here for that long too!

Over at Alice in Wonderland, work continues with the refurbishment
Whoa! Space Mountain is getting cleaned!
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage's refurbishment is very active
Looking at the Alice in Wonderland vine aboard the Disneyland Monorail
Major work taking place here in the lagoon.
If this is what the outside looks like, I'm guessing that this same kind of work was taking place inside as well. But because we couldn't see it (hence it being in the show building) people and website were assuming that the attraction was closed for good
Look at where the First Aid (white cross against a blue box) is...
It's displayed at being where the Lockers are located on Center Street
But First Aid is still in operation at it's current location next to the Plaza Inn
Time for Main Street vehicles to come back on the street
While waiting for Soundsational ...

Today was debut of the Frozen pre-parade float for Soundsational
Princess Anna is so surprised to see everyone
Princess Anna spots me, and realizes that I haven't met her or her sister, Elsa yet.
But it's not their fault.
It's those long lines that can form just to meet them ... sometimes up to 4 hours in legnth
But she forgives and welcomes me
She's sending me warm hugs, just like Olaf
Princess Anna recognizes one of her many fans
Boy, Princess Anna sure is excited
Elsa is being calm, collected, and poise as she waves to those who come to see her
Princess Anna spots me and couldn't believe I made it to Town Square to see her again

ReplyDeleteIt scares me that people are so stupid that they didn't even think of the fact that they were doing work INSIDE the Nemo show building, thus, why the outer lagoon didn't have active work until recently. No, instead people are like;
"Duh...I don't see anything happening on the outside, that means Disney is lying and the ride is closing forever! I have extremely limited thinking skills!"
Seriously, are people really *that* ignorant, or is it just the obsessive-compulsive Internet crowd? Near as I can tell, not one single person on those fan sites ever came to conclusion that work must be happening inside the show building. (and some of these people are supposedly adults.)
I myself always assumed that work was going on inside (especially after hearing that part of the cavern ceiling supposedly needed repairs)
I apologize for this rant, but I often feel like I am one of the only logical people who frequents the Internet. Even after the recent announcement of the opening date of September 27, people are STILL doubting that the the subs are coming back.

ReplyDeleteVery happy to see that they have began cleaning the Space Mountain exterior. Every week when I view your pictorial I hope that when the Space photos come up the brilliant white color will be back, and now it finally has happened! Can't wait until the entire thing is shining white again!
