Knowing that both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure would be opening at 8 a.m. this week, I made it a point to set up my alarm to 6:45 a.m. so I can be there at opening.
But it didn't work out like that. I snoozed my alarm and eventually got up at 7:20 a.m.
I got ready and arrived at the Disneyland Resort around 8:20 a.m., which wasn't too bad
The small crowd heading into Disneyland
Same for Disney California Adventure
Over at Clarabelle's Ice Cream, the Red Car Trolley cup has been replaced with Mickey Mouse red shorts
"Eat my shorts!"
For Early Entry Guests interested in getting a FastPass, they will no longer be allowed to queue up during that extra hour. Cast Members will directed them to the attraction. And FastPass will still open when Disney California Adventure opens for the public
Why is Hopper so mad?
Oh, cause "it's tough to be a bug" is closed for a refurbishment
Disneyland time...
Disneyland has been open for a little more than an hour and Main Street is not crowded
Enough room for the vehicles to travel through
What?! Only a 10 minute wait for Big Thunder
Don't worry, it's just an arch
Club 33 refurbishment
This is the end of the queue to meet Anna and Elsa from "Frozen"
Alice in Wonderland refurbishment continues
What are you looking at?
Why it's Maleggficent!
Someone caught on and fixed the word SPRING
Last week it was spelled SPRIGN
I hope the Easter Bunny doesn't feel lonely
Roger Rabbit!
People in line for the other characters hopped out of their line and into Roger Rabbit's line
A relatively high demand to meet Roger Rabbit
"..and to make sure you do not fail, bring me her yolk ... in this"
If you look closely, you'll notice a metal beam along the side of Space Mountain.
I could be wrong, but I want to say it's so that the cleaners can hook on to it when they clean the side of the mountain.
Oh god, I hope they don't install these around the whole mountain.
So I guess there won't be a Spring time Flower "Market" along Center Street
You know what I noticed?
For the three hours I was at the Disneyland Resort, it didn't feel nearly as crowded as it did last week, which made it nice when walking around.
Well, that will conclude today's weekly pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out as I really appreciate it
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
We were there that day! Surprised you didn't get a pic of us on BTMRR, as many times as we rode it!
ReplyDeleteOh really!
DeleteOn this visit, I didn't really spend a whole lot of time at Big Thunder. I did get a FastPass when I got there, and thought I would just ride it during that window time, but got wrapped up elsewhere that I didn't even get a chance to use it. ha ha
