Last year for Limited Time Magic, Disney California Adventure hosted an Egg-stravaganza Easter Egg Hunt throughout the Park. Purchase your map and stickers at Elias and Company for $4.95 + tax and then scour Disney California Adventure in search of the hidden eggs. When you come across the egg, take the corresponding sticker and place it on the map. Return the map with the stickers in place and redeem it for a prize. Or you can skip the hunt and just go straight to the redemption table to get your prize
It proved to be quite popular that they continue it once again this year, this time expanding it to 10 days (instead of just a week). And the price is still $4.95 + tax
SPOILER:
Before you continue reading and looking at the pictures, I must warn you that this blog post will show where all the eggs are.
Purchasing my egg map
Who is way up there with Triton?
Oh, the white rabbit. His egg looks nothing like the sticker.
Donald... man, Donald's egg was really hard for me.
I probably spent about 10 minutes circling the Pacific Wharf area trying to find it.
I stopped to think of where the egg was last year in the area. Once I remembered, it made it easy to find the Donald egg
Last year, the Lightning McQueen egg was at the Curios shop
Mater's egg is inside the Cozy Cone Motel, where as last year it was in one of the tires above the marquee to Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
Back at Elias and Company to redeem
This year Disneyland gets in on the act with 12 eggs hidden
I was told to retain my receipt and show it upon completion. I wasn't told that at Disney California Adventure
Don't drown Pluto!
Took me a while to spot Toad
Heading to the Disney Showcase to redeem
This time I got Daisy
That will conclude the Easter Egg Hunt
Thanks for stopping by.

Until Next Time..
Cool. When they do cool stuff like this it's really something that takes you all through both parks and you end up with cool map of each Park and a couple of cool eggs all decorated. I am planning a trip next week before my AP dies and I may try this.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I loved it last year and am glad they continued with it this year, and included Disneyland.
DeleteI think it's a lot of fun to do, and for $4.95 +tax, I think it's worth it.
While visiting the past two days, I have seen a lot of people (Adults with and without children) enjoying the scavenger hunt
Great event! May i know what is the prizes that can get??
ReplyDeleteThere are 6 eggs you can get as prizes, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Chip and Dale. They open so you can fill them with candy for your home Easter egg hunt. I had a blast doing this!
DeleteIrwin,
DeleteJust like what Sabrina said, after the completion of the hunt, you go back to the redemption table. On the table are different colored shells (basically those big plastic solid colored Easter eggs you can find at the store), you choose a shell and the CM will pull out your prize, which could be one of six different character eggs.
The Disney Parks blog has a picture of the six character eggs to collect
