Today (and all throughout the week) Disneyland and Disney California Adventure had a 9 a.m. opening. So that means a lot of people were descending into the Resort at once.
The lines to get into Disney California Adventure (not pictured) were crazy. They reached almost to the Disneyland Monorail beam, while the lines for Disneyland were relatively short. Probably because more gates at Disneyland were open compared to that of Disney California Adventure
I didn't feel like waiting for Disney California Adventure, so I went into Disneyland first
The Disneyland Guide Map received a new picture cover. Since Big Thunder Mountain Railroad recently reopened after 14 months, it was appropriate to have a picture of Thunder Mountain on the front cover.
What I don't like is that the picture of Thunder Mountain is very out of focused and blurred a bit.
Heavy crowds waiting for Disneyland to open at 9 a.m.
Many people are heading into Frontierland
Looking at the Big Thunder Station with the Columbia in the background
It's a Springtime Roundup at Big Thunder Ranch
The Roundup hasn't opened yet so we will come back to it a bit later
The line for Frozen Meet and Greet queue. Not only does it do the switchbacks in front of Pinocchio's Daring Journey, but it starts to winds along the patio of the Village Haus
Alice in Wonderland refurbishment
"it's a small world" still closed.
It will reopen in April for a couple weeks for its 50th celebration and then close down again
Looking at Alice in Wonderland
Space Mountain's top ring seems to be completed.
Right now, it's pure white, but eventually it will be like the rest of the mountain .... all dirty ha ha
Or maybe when Disney finally is able to clean the mountain, it will be as white as the top ring
Not much happening in the lagoon of Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage during its refurbishment
Oh man, look at that crowd waiting to get into Disney California Adventure.
The Park has been open for about an hour at this point
The base from the old scaffolding may be kept.
If so, I am guessing that the leaf will be extended sideways
I wonder if it will resemble what was there before, just without the decorative tarp that was underneath it
What is this?!?
Why, it's a Mickey Mouse Ear Tutu
Springtime Roundup at Big Thunder Ranch has opened for the day
Scary face peeking out from behind the sign
Colorful cowboy and cowgirl dancers
Bre'r Rabbit
Thumper
The Easter Bunny
Pluto and White Rabbit
Umm.. White Rabbit, a little bit more masculinity please
The Bunnies are teaching up the Bunny Hop (which I think was the same as last year when it was on Main Street U.SA.)
Look at all of them
Disney California Adventure time
Since Disneyland received a new photo cover, so did Disney California Adventure's Guide Map
I feel like Olaf is like a photobomber when it comes to Frozen merchandise
Can enjoy the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail?
To compensate, why not color
Not much Springtime taking place inside Disney California Adventure, which is a shame
Wish they would add some Spring colors to this Park.
Oh well, I think it's time for me to head out
While walking back, saw these Alice in Wonderland vine leaves behind the fence
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
One of the signs in the Easter Jamboree area says SPRIGN instead of Spring. How embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteOh, You're right! I guess the person hanging up the letter wasn't paying attention to the correct order
