When Disney's California Adventure opened, one of the more prominent stores of the Park could be found in the Route 66 section of Paradise Pier. And that was Dinosaur Jack's Sunglass Shack.
In October 2006, Dinosaur Jack would get cosmetic enhancements done. Going from pink to green with fewer yellow spots that were relocated to more of the spinal hump. But with the $1.1billion makeover for Disney California Adventure, Dinosaur Jack would soon become extinct and in May 2009, he was closed permanently. The location where Jack once stood is now being used as a seating area for Corn Dog Castle
