Pirates of the Caribbean 3D Sneak Peek at Big Thunder Ranch

Between March 25, 2011 and May 30, 2011 during the evening hours from dusk to Park closing, Guests are invited to head over to Big Thunder Ranch's Festival Arena to get an exclusive 3D sneak peek at Disney's latest Pirates movie - Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

An ad promoting the 3D sneak peek. These were given at the Parking Lot Toll Booth.

Signs leading the way

A one-eyed parrot and his first mate greet and interact with Guests in line as they wait

Waiting for the previous show to finish before stepping inside

It is okay to take photo's of the little show the pirates put on, but once it goes to the 3D sneak peek of Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides, anything that can take pictures must be put away

Stepping inside the arena

Our host for this evening's performance

He needs a volunteer to help decipher ink on paper. Pretty much someone who can read.

One thing to watch out for are Mermaids

Mermaids!

And Black Beard!

And now we all put on our 4 eyed eye patch for the sneak peek of Pirates of the Caribbean : On Stranger Tides

Oh no! The pirates are all hanging!

- The pictures below are from the next performance that I was able to attend -

None other than Jack Sparrow

And checking out the parrot before heading out.  There wasn't a demand after the fireworks to enter the Festival Arena, and this was on a Sunday!

I thought this little sneak peek was done very well for the amount of time they had to put it all together.

Thank you Disney Show Technicians Cast Members for pulling it off!

NOTE: They load in Guests roughly every 30 minutes. They do not load in during the fireworks and once they are over and the arena is safe, they will start to load in Guests.

The arena is pretty big and can fit a great many number of people inside. When I got to Disneyland, I went straight over to the Big Thunder Trail. The end of the line was at the wooden bridge of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  And at that time, the fireworks about to start, so the line didn't move. Once the line started to move, I was able to get in on the first performance after the fireworks.

I hope you enjoyed these pictures

Until next time...
