After visiting the Parks the past couple of weeks and not finding a particular book, I decided to order it on Amazon. So the other day, I get home and saw a package at my computer. Then and there I knew it could only be the book I had been waiting for.

Walt Disney Imagineering A Behind the Dreams Look at Making More Magic Real” is broken into three parts- Theory, Tools, and Portfolio. In Part I, the Imagineers explain who they are, how they start with an idea and then take that idea and turn it into a story by creating an unique immersive magical world. Once the idea is set, Part II talks about how Imagineers go about creating it a reality, from concept drawings to models and design from a Guests point of view, to set design and music, all the way down to the very tiny detail. Nothing can be overlooked. Part III takes a look at what they have accomplished in the past and how they are able to improve, change or adapt it for the environment they are creating it for. It also talks about where Imagineering is at the current moment and what lies ahead.

Walt Disney Imagineering A Behind the Dreams Look at Making More Magic Real” is a great book and is loaded with so much concept art and pictures. The book also displays a lot of art for current projects that have just either finished or are taking place, such as World of Color, The Little Mermaid attraction, and Cars Land in Disney California Adventure. It also mentions the current Fantasyland renovation taking place at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World.
This is a really great book, especially if you are a Disney fan. There are so many pictures in this book that each time you take a look at it, you may find something new. I had ordered my copy from Amazon with the standard 3-5 day delivery service and I couldn't believe how fast it had arrived. For the asking price, I think it's well worth it. Why, I even think this is a book that even Alice herself would thoroughly enjoy
