Oh man
So much is going on with me this past month that it's been hard getting to the Disneyland Resort for my weekly pictorials as I wasn't able to make it on Friday, nor Saturday.
Finally made it on a Sunday afternoon.
A lot of Guests going inside Disney California Adventure. Probably to catch the first showing of Frozen for the day.
Heading into Disneyland first
Oh my gosh, it's busy!
Making my way over to the Hungry Bear Restaurant
Can barely see it, but the staircase at the back end of the Hungry Bear patio is exposed to the construction.
It will late be discovered that they blocked the entire staircase with a tarp.
Before, you could go up to the rope of the top stairs and see the dry bed of the river. But with the construction taking place all the up to the bottom of the stairs, they blocked the upper staircase with a tarp wall.

The Mickey and Friends Parking Structure
Walking around Disneyland (and eventually Disney California Adventure) I saw so many people with the AP popcorn buckets.
At first I was gonna take pictures of each one I saw.
At first it was a couple, then that couple turned into a few, and then a handful, and then into double digits.
There was no way I was gonna post all the ones I saw.
The total count of AP popcorn buckets that I saw between both Parks was 38.
When I look at this rock formation from the old Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland, I can't help but see a "face"
Peeking through the little hole in the wall, looking towards the old Big Thunder trail and ranch
Dr Facilier just hanging around the Mart Twain dock
These bird may look peaceful and cute ... until they are hungry for baby ducks!
A tarp wall has been placed in front of the Skyway Chalet
Could this mean the demolition be near?
If there's one mug to get, it has to be this Disneyland Railroad glass mug
This was spotted in the China Closet on Main Street.

Over in Cars Land, take home some of Luigi's cousins and you'll take home all the fun and excitement of Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters

Walking through the Grand Californian Hotel and though Downtown Disney
Making my way over to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure to see the Star Wars Land construction
That will conclude today's pictorial

Until Next Time..
Great pics! Has there been any talk about a frontierland train station across from Big Thunder? Looks like they are digging the new pathways down so the train can pass over them. Not sure what they are doing on the new north end of Tom Sawyers island. It would be cool if they put a lookout area there for good photos of the new train track, rockwork and waterfalls.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of a train station across from Big Thunder. The one next to the Haunted Mansion still exists and also the one that's in Fantasyland, next to "it's a small world". So having another one across Big Thunder wouldn't really have much of a purpose.
DeleteThank you again for your pics!
ReplyDeleteThe Skyway Station was Demolished Finally three days ago.
