Ready for another weekly visit to the Disneyland Resort?
If so, let's head on way.
Disney California Adventure is our first stop
Can you believe that we are almost to the 15th anniversary of Disney('s) California Adventure?
No big hoopla from Disney about it either, even after spending $$$ of its revitalization
You know, I think if Disney California Adventure were to celebrate, it could have relieved any over crowding from Disneyland since half the park is closed.
Rocket to the Moon
The Tough To Be A Bug Theater is hosting a sneak peek of Zootopia from Walt Disney Animation
Guests entering the theater can receive either a Fox or Bunny paper headband to wear
I chose Fox
Can I just say that I didn't know much about Zootopia. To me, it really didn't sound all that interesting
I hate to admit it, but one thing I like about these sneak peeks is that it makes it easy for me to decide on whether I want to spend money to see a film or not.
Case in point - The Good Dinosaur. Didn't really have any interest in seeing it. Saw the preview at the Bug Land Theater, and it still didn't make me want to see it.
Zootopia, didn't know anything about it (other than it a movie titled Zootopia was being release), saw the sneak peek, and it looks interesting enough to actually want to spend money to see it in an actual theater
I know nothing about electronics. But when I saw these on the speaker posts, I was wondering if they were some sort of WiFi recievers
All the poles and chains have been removed
Over at Grizzly River Run, the FastPass machines are all dedicated to the attraction.
World of Color is going through a little refurbishment
Right now, I believe Soarin' Over California is opened Fri - Sun until March
Disneyland
Work being done at the entrance to Adventureland
Setting up a queue for those who want a dole whip
Feel free to step aboard the stationary Mark Twain.
It's not going anywhere.
The Island is so quiet
But the screams coming from Splash Mountain is a different story
Haunted Mansion is now in its Classic Mode
And today, FastPass was being offered.
Sitting by the fireplace sure looks nice and relaxing
Bulldozing along the edge of the River
Even though tarps can be seen at the Hungry Bear Restaurant, it is still open for Guests
Is it day time or night time?
On the upper level, graphic tarps hide the River view from Guests as Disney begins to create Star Wars Land
Along the River, trees make up the view
Next to the Disneyland Railroad, picture of bears.
Make sure they don't smell your food. Or it could spell TROUBLE
The path between Fantasyland and Frontierland is closed
Disneyland Band playing near "it's a small world"
Speaking of "it's a small world", it's still Small World Holiday if you are still in the Christmas spirit
Autopia refurbishment work
That's a lot of money for a statue
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
The Empire is Near.....(Hums the Imperial Mickey Mouse March)
ReplyDeleteWhere did they move the smoking areas that used to be on the Big Thunder Trail and by the River rafts. Thanks in advance.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the Disneyland App, designated smoke areas are The Rivers of America Raft Doc (near Tom Sawyer Island Rafts), and Matterhorn Way
