That's why one was on Thursday, the week before. And this one is on a Saturday.
Amazing, Summer is almost over and soon it will be Halloween Time
Mickey Mouse wants me to go have a good time
God Bless America
Practically everyone heading into Cars Land
First and only ones on California Screamin'
While riding Mickey's Fun Wheel, gotta check out the (little) progress of Luigi's
Ant-Man preview still going on... and I think this is the last weekend before it goes back to "it's tough to be a bug"
Ahh! The shimmering sunlight reflection is strong.
Psych!
Wait... are these props new?
The ropes and firehoses
Can you say ... overstock!
Disneyland time
Next time imma gonna try and bring me a quarter to insert.
Look at all those people
And the Monorail is bringing even MORE people
It's gonna get CRAAAZZZZYYYY!
Finally, a train is coming
Choo-Choo!
Riding through the jungles of Adventureland
Pulling into the Frontierland Station
Fill 'er up!
Heading towards the backwoods, but gotta go through a tunnel first
Wait...deja vu?
Nope, we are now heading along the rim of the Grand Canyon and Primeval World
I tried to mimic Disneyland's version.
But as you can see, mine isn't as romantic, scenic, or as long.
If Fantasyland can have it's own theatre, why not Tomorrowland
I can't believe the Wild About Safety is 10 years old now. Actually, I thought it was a lot older than that. I kept thinking it came out in 2003 / 2004
Really?
Oh how long will this be up?
Maybe some bets should be made
It's Chew"bear"cca
Along with Leia and an Ewok
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Don't forget to
and on
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
Do you buy a ticket each time you go? I'm asking because you have been taking pictures of the tickets after entering, seems strange...
ReplyDeleteHuh?
DeleteWhat's wrong with buying a ticket each time? ;)
Maybe I like supporting the Disneyland Resort with $$$. lol
I just use tickets that I have collected to start some of my pictorials.
Glad that you are back with new photo reports. I was there with my family on Saturday for our annual trip, and it was really crowded, especially in the evening once the nighttime entertainment was underway. People were camping out along Main Street for the 9 pm Paint the Night parade well before 6 pm.
ReplyDeleteWe rode California Screamin' a little before noon with no incident, but when we went back around 3 pm for another ride, we found the queue completely empty and an empty train in the launch position. The cast member at the single rider entrance told us that the ride had just been evacuated, including riders from the track, but they had no idea what was wrong with the ride.
We received the mailer from Build a Bear advertising the Star Wars bears, and the Han Solo bear and R2D2 bear are just wrong. Disney's licensing of Star Wars products has finally gone too far.
Definitely more people people this summer due to the 60th anniversary. To me, it always felt that mid July through Mid August was the slow period because of the number of AP's blocked out. But with the offerings for the 60th anniversary, it seems way busier.
DeleteI have seen people camp out too for Paint the Night. I just associate it with the fact that Disneyland hasn't had a nighttime light parade since 1996's Light Magic.
It seems like Disney is milking the whole Star Wars and Marvel in every possible way. At the Parks, I have seen merchandise where Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, etc, are dressed up like Star Wars characters. Or having Darth Vader seem friendlier than he actually is on t-shirts. Just It just seems like they are going a little overboard with it all.
