Last week, media outlets were reporting on the banning of selfie sticks at the Disneyland Resort taking place on June 30, 2015. For Guests staying at the Disneyland Resort Hotels, they were also notified on the ban.
For those who aren't staying at the Resort hotels or haven't seen or heard about the recent ban would find out about it once they get to the Disneyland Resort
Walking up to the bag check tents, signs have been placed
Because Peter Pan's Flight just came out of it's refurbishment with enhancements to the attraction, Disneyland was the first place I went.
Getting inside Disneyland around 7:50 a.m. (they opened the gates at 7:45 am)
Getting a spot at rope drop.
Once the opening greeting places, it was a mad dash
Guess where 95% of these people are going
Running through the Castle
Tight squeeze
Practically everyone was running for Peter Pan's Flight
Granted, the line just started and it's being walked in, they already had signs posted with 50 minutes displayed.
Look at all those people
Looking at the nursery from the queue
The new Darling children and Tink
Peter Pan shows us the way
Tinker Bell, slow down. We can't keep up.
Tinker Bell, please. Slow down!
London all lit up at night
Looks as though it was created using Lite-Brite
New effect. But it can be difficult to see
Audio can be heard ..
"There it is Wendy, Second star to the right and straight on till morning"
You will notice that Peter Pan isn't pointing away from Wendy, like in the movie.
Peter Pan is pointing to his left, which is the direction the ship will travel once it flies around Big Ben
The second star to the right that Pan was pointing to is all lit up
I have a feeling we're not in London any more
We must be over the rainbow!
Poor Tiger Lilly
Hold on for London
Pixie Dust!
Sprinkle Sprinkle Sprinkle
Next time we'll drown that Wendy Bird
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was closed while I visited
I guess this photo op is the next best thing
And in case you're wondering, the woman with her hands up is not holding a selfie stick.
The hand held sticks are allowed
Tomoorrowland Movie posteres have been removed from the entrance
Part of Innoventions is being walled off.
I am guessing pretty much 4 of the 5 staging areas are being walled off
This "entrance" doesn't look like it's being walled off and will actually be an entrance
Shhhh... one false move and they will attack!
Walked by Peter Pan's Flight and the posted wait was still at 50 minutes
The queue for the handicapped Guests
Disney California Adventure time
Was this car pushed out move?
It looks like it's angled more than normal
Get me one so I can be a Disney Park Diva!
USA! USA! USA!
Who wants to eat a sandal as a cookie
Not Cast Members, but Crew Members (in Cars Land)
Themed rope flags for the Pacific Wharf
Uh Oh!
Looks like someone didn't read the signs
This selfie stick has been confiscated
But the Guests didn't seem upset and were very cooperative
They knew they would be getting the stick back at the end of their visit
You can see a small yellow tag has been attached to the stick
She's taking it to the Resort Lost and Found, where they (and anyone else) will pick up their stick upon leaving
Signs here
Signs there
Signs everywhere!
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
