Decided to make a quick stop at the Disneyland Resort to see how Sleeping Beauty Castle was turning out since my last visit on Friday
We can see that bunting has been strung along the front of the Castle, just above the drawbridge
More reflection strips have been placed as they are placed along the frame of the rooftop
Also, since last Friday, the two conical spires on either side of the window had their diamond toppers and stripes taken away.
The strips sort of shimmer during the late afternoon
And just like for Disneyland's 50th anniversary, we will see a "60" placed on the Castle
The flag poles on either side of the walkway leading up to the drawbridge had their flags replaced
with sparkly blue fabric
I also love to visit here one of this day. I still remember how my childhood evolves only with Sleeping Beauty. And it really amazed me how this film included in the list for Hollywood Movies that Took Too Long to Make in a duration of 8 years! Sleeping Beauty must be very special for taking that long to film. And seeing this castle is very nostalgic for me. I wanna visit this place soon..can't wait for that day! Happy 60th Anniversary Disneyland!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place!! I also love Disneyland. Being there on my daughter’s birthday was really great experience. The event locations like this are always interesting. Everyone should visit this Disneyland Resort.
