As I walked to the Disneyland Resort, I walked behind the ESPN Zone and through Downtown Disney
As I walked by the Downtown Disney Monorail station, I saw some Fall (??) decor
This reminds me of two things...
1 - Pocahontas
and
2 - The Year of a Million Dreams promotion between 2006-2008
Umm.. OK
Trying to make it spooky, I guess
With an 8 a.m. opening for Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, it sure is quiet in the Main Entrance Plaza
Disneyland first...
Christmas Time is starting to seep in
Over at the First Aid station...
Since last week, sticker graphics have been placed underneath the words "First Aid" on the door
Some welding taking place behind the corridor doors
...And they're off!
A peak at the Royal Courtyard refurbishment
Checking out Haunted Mansion Holiday
This is how the gingerbread house looks when the doors don't close
The Mark Twain in dry dock
Walking along the Riverbelle Terrace in Frontierland, I can totally see "backstage"

Walking by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Resist the temptation!
Over at "it's a small world", it is starting to get ready for its annual transformation of Small World Holiday
Don't attempt to adjust your monitor.
You are actually seeing it for yourself
....
Guests are actually going into the sneak peek of Big Hero 6
These look like snowflakes.
Which could easily be a nod to the old Adventure Thru Inner Space attraction, which was where Star Tours is now
I love a piano
I love a piano
I love to hear somebody play...
...
But wait! Where is the piano?
Oh, it's at the Jolly Holiday Cafe patio
Christmas merchandise being put out
Maybe Disney could repurpose Duffy as a character bear for Frozen's sequel
I am curious to see how this will turn out
We can see that the walls have been taken down at the compass
Walking through Disney California Adventure and Buena Vista Street
Do you want to build a snowman ... on top of your head?
Yup, these are still wrapped up
What if Disney California Adventure tested Radiator Springs Racers a FastPass attraction only.
Similar to what they did with the Frozen Meet and Greet at Disneyland and the test Disney did for Toy Story Midway Mania at the Disney Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World
Cars Land is getting Christmas Time merchandise
Bad boys! Bad Boys!
Whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
Disney's way of thinking....
Cars merchandise = $1 Billion
Star Wars merchandise = $1 Billion
Mashing the two together = $1 Trillion
Obviously!
Some nice reading material
The announcer before the show mentions that we will be visiting a land of magic and mystery. A land of no video lighting, flash photography, mobile phones, and other handheld devices (meaning iPads and Tablets).
So don't interrupt the journey with such distractions
Finally changed the Brave poster with an Alice in Wonderland picture card
Oswald!
Well, that will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
