Once again, the Disneyland Resort is hosting a 24 hour event. Starting at 6 a.m. on May 23, 2014 lasting all the way to 6 a.m. on May 24, 2014
Last year, I didn't bother going on 2013's 24 hour event to do by weekly blog. I just waited until the next day Saturday to do it.
But because I wouldn't be able to do it this year on Saturday, I decided to to it on the 24 hour event. But in no way was I gonna stay for 24 hours, let alone a whole day as I have other things going on.
So I wake up at 5 a.m. to get ready and head over to the Disneyland Resort. I get there about 10 minutes before opening. I decide I want to visit California Adventure first, so I get in one of the lines. There were a lot of people there, but once 6 a.m. hit, lines to get in were fast
All the people waiting for California Adventure to open at 6 a.m.

"Because the first one was a hit in theaters"
ReplyDeleteTechnically it was, it made money. A world-wide gross of $219,788,712. The general public seemed to like it, and that's all that matters.
Wow! I didn't think it made over $200 million. I guess that's enough to bring the second one out in theaters as well. To me, I didn't think the first one performed well enough to release the second one out in theaters. But I guess since it makes money, and Lasseter having a say in it, the second one will be released in theaters.
DeleteI wonder if the railing on Alice is permanent, or just temporary for the workers safety while it is under refurbishment?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it could be temporary while workers are up on the vine.
DeleteAnother part of me is thinking that they may just convert those into more permanent themed rails (or whatever they decide to do).
But we'll wait and see how it all turns out as they still have a little under 6 weeks before it's scheduled to reopen
I Can't Wait for This Years' Version. I Remember the First Time that I Went to a 24 Hour Event in 2013 when They Promote Monsters Inc Prequel. I Got the Pictures from 2013 24 Hour Party (Though, They're only on Facebook). Can't Wait to Go Back to a 24 Hour Party, But are You Coming This Year too.
