Closed Rides, Tarps, and Scaffolding Doesn't Make For A Pretty Park at the Disneyland Resort
Watch your step as you walk through the Main Entry Plaza at the Disneyland Resort, as the compass section is still wet. Not sure if it's because of the rain that happened the day before or if it was from power washing during the late hours
The Parks haven't officially opened yet, so I am gonna go into Disney California Adventure first to kill some time
Normally there would be a trolley here, but not at this moment in time
The trees in front of Elias and Company on Buena Vista Street are blooming
With the Parks officially opened for the day, I decide to leave Disney California Adventure and head over to Disneyland
The annual Valentine's Day decoration in Town Square on Main Street U.S.A. have been installed
Heading down Main Street U.S.A.
So apparently the Skyway Chalet has been spared from demolition ... for now
Taking a ride on Alice in Wonderland
Will I be getting the pretty pretty pink caterpillar?
Nope, got the green looking colored one
"it's a small world" still under refurbishment
No peeking from the Autopia drivers
What's going on top of Space Mountain's rooftop?
It looks like they are adding another ring structure on top
This is probably for more fall protection and they will hide it behind a ring, sort of what they did with the Castle wall above the dark rides in Fantasyland
Even with this going on, Space Mountain was still open
The following day, the water in the lagoon is scheduled to be drained
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has multiple trains running along the tracks
Another look at the top of Space Mountain
Kitty!
Disney California Adventure time
The next day marks Disney California Adventure's 13 anniversary
Not much is happening inside Disney California Adventure
Cool Oswald mugs
When I exit, the magic ends
Now I understand this quote...
"Star Command, I'm going to need more time."
...because a lot of the cool rides are down for refurbishment
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
