Disneyland Resort Starting off 2014 With Refurbishments

Christmas Time 2013 has concluded and now we are transitioning into the so called "off season".
I don't know if there is an "off season" anymore as it seems that part of Disney wants the Parks consistently full of people. Of course, this is while many refurbishments (mostly in Disneyland) are taking place.


Walking through Downtown Disney, new banners have been placed.
"Star Command, I'm going to need more time."

Since not a whole lot is taking place inside Disney California Adventure, we will visit there first this lovely morning




Buena Vista Street Restrooms under refurbishment

Hollywoodland is almost back to normal. There are a few Christmas decorations up here and there.
Also the line for Radiator Springs Racers FastPass isn't very long as it is only pass Disney Jr Live on Stage


With the conclusion of World of Color Winter Dreams, World of Color is under refurbishment to transition back to its normal mode


Toy Story Midway Mania still packing them in

To think, only last week this street was a festive atmosphere with ¡Viva Navidad!

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail under refurbishment








With World of Color under refurbishment, all the FastPass machines are for Grizzly River Ruuu......Wha-! Why are they getting a FastPass for Grizzly?!? It's almost a walk on.  And the return time is only like 45 minutes.  I don't think it's gonna get that warm where people are going to flock to the attraction and create a huge demand ha ha

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad refurbishment


Why is I.B. Hearty the only Big Thunder Mountain Railroad train I see being tested
I hope there aren't any issues where it may not open up in the time they want it.
After all, I would assume they will have to do the water jugs with the other trains as well

Finding Nemo is closed for a lengthy refurbishment that could have to attraction open in late September
















Soon the scrims will be up on the Monorail platform so that the only way to see the lagoon will be from riding the Monorail






Riding the Disneyland Monorail for shots of the Lagoon will be 2007 all over again for me ha ha




If that's the water line for a full lagoon, the draining is gonna take quite some time.








The Flower Market that was here in Center Street for the Christmas holiday has now been cleared
