Oh man, what is with the weather this week. Monday through Thursday it was in the 80's, but today the weather decided to be in the low 60's with rain clouds hovering above.
Christmas Time is in full swing at the Disneyland Resort. Several things I want to see today are Jingle Cruise inside Disneyland and Viva Navidad inside Disney California Adventure.
Let's start off with heading to Disneyland, because I don't want to wait long for the Jungle ... I mean, Jingle Cruise.
The Jingle Cruise gets its very own attraction poster that is displayed in both tunnels as you enter Disneyland
The Jungle Cruise boats have been themed to Christmas, and they are also themed with a few Christmas decorations
Looking at the date on the tag that is attached to one of the boxes inside the queue
Date: 12/3/39
The boat I was on was called "Yule Kissimmee"
Loves it!
Red and Green colored tassels
As far as the actual cruise goes, it was pretty much the same. The only thing different is that the Skipper threw in Christmas themed humor as he told the jokes
Continuing on ...
The place to meet Santa Claus
Is the fan in case Santa gets hot?
Does he have a portable heater for when he's cold? ha ha
Stick a piece of dynamite in me and I'll have a blast
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad train in testing
Even the Fantasy Faire gets into the Christmas spirit
Disney California Adventure time....
Buena Vista Street bell ringers are back
The Big Top Toys / Elias and Company windows have once again been themed to Walt Disney's Silly Symphony "Santa's Workshop"
I can't remember ... but did they always animate? If not, they do now.
Santa's arm goes up and down
The little elves work away at making toys.
Their arms holding the little mallets move
The toys being moved into Santa's bag, ready to be delivered to all the good little boys and girls
Viva Navidad! at Paradise Gardens
What Latin event wouldn't be complete without shot glasses
During select times of the day, Disney California Adventure presents
Disney Viva Navidad Party
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
And the street party is hosted by none other than the Three Caballeros
Now a gift from Jose ...
The Samba from Brazil
The Samba from Brazil
Minnie Mouse
And Mickey Mouse make a Guest Appearance
They all dance to Feliz Navidad
Last weekend, Radiator Springs Racers reopened after a 4 day refurbishment
Please Note: The following three pictures were taken with a camera phone
A couple things were changed, especially in the station.
Here, in the area where wheelchair go, they installed smaller barriers to prevent Guests from climbing out on the wrong side
Where's Luigi? He's gone missing at the moment
And in the station, the gates have been redesigned.
They now extend out to the vehicle itself.
The old ones had that rubber padding attached to it
Continuing on...
Hollywoodland with vintage style decorations along the street
I am going to go and see Santa so this is where our pictorial will end for this week
I hope you enjoyed today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out

Until Next Time...
