I was a little worried for today. Yesterday it had rained and the forecast was for rain today. But when I woke up today, I looked at the clock with the temperature on it and it just stated "cooler".
It turned out to be a wonderful day at the Disneyland Resort
It's about 9:50am and very little crowd heading inside Disney California Adventure
Looking at some of the buildings of Buena Vista Street
Looks good
After a couple months missing, Soarin' Over California finally got its marquee picture sign back
Now all that needs some touching up is the hang glider
Looking towards Carthay Circle Theatre before Disney California Adventure opens up
Carthay Circle Theatre's marquee
The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure will be closing down for approx a week to do some redressing
Silly Symphony Swings under refurbishment
Looking at Triton through some trees
Flo's V8 Cafe received neon around the rim
Beach balls for Luigi's Flying Tires
If you look on the far left, the wooden wall for Luigi's, there appears some sort of graphic
Tow Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
California Screamin's queue
The new coverings for California Screamin's queue is almost complete
No vehicles on the street!
Stanley, the founder
The fencing around for Cozy Cone Motel. In the far back, against the window of Luigi's, there appears to be a flying tire. Is this a photo op (like Mr Toad or Dumbo) or is it for demonstration
Motor Oil and gasoline pumps for Flo's V8 Cafe
On the post by Luigi's, there is a sign pointing in the direction of "a bug's land"
Mary Niven walking through Cars Land
Queue for Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
At the cross roads of Radiator Springs, signs point in the direction for Guests if they want to go to the Pacific Wharf or Paradise Pier
Carthay Circle Theatre's fire alarms were going off. I am assuming they were testing the system
Buena Vista Street
Elias & Co
Set up for Mad T Party
Monster's Inc's facade looks like it might blend well with Mad T Party
House of Cards
Back on Buena Vista Street
Disneyland!
The side rock wall where the vine once grew blends in with the rest of the mountain very well!
Buena Vista Street's entrance as seen from the Monorail.
Malificent and Prince Philip, and Buzz and Woody in lego form
Whoa! did you see that? A new color bobsled
Looking into Buena Vista Street via the Monorail
Have seen this wooden structure (now covered) for some time being built. It sort of reminds me of a lift hill on Thunder Mountain
A sled painted in a different color
Soon this will be gone
Heading out now... with one last look towards Disney California Adventure
Hope you enjoyed today's pictorial
Until Next Time...
Hey this was awesome! Thanks for posting the gret pics. We're going mid-May so I hope there isn't so much stuff covered.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe all this money spent on a total makeover and the result is only one good ride (hopefully good) RSR. The majority of construction is just for shops to peddle merchandise. Oh well, gotta make their money back I guess.
