March of the Wires

Between Tuesday March 27 and Thursday March 29, Disney California Adventure was holding a sneak peek for Cars Land and Disney California Adventure merchandise for Annual Passholders. Because of the sneak peek, Disney thought there would be a huge demand to get their hands on the merchandise before the general public.  And because of this thought, Disney California Adventure was to open early to accommodate the huge crowd. But less than 50 AP's had shown up.

So on Tuesday, Disney California Adventure attractions were to try and open at 9am.  Obviously to the paying Guest entering the Park that early, they couldn't be happier.  Because of the low turn out on the first day, it seems as though Disney decided to open up a bit later.  So they tried to for the attractions to open at 9:15am.  Still very few AP's showed up that early for the sneak peek of merchandise. But the Park was open to all those who entered.

Because of the past two days, I wondered if they would do that today, which is the final preview day. I didn't want to take any chances. So I got up an hour early, got ready, and walked to the Resort.  I had gotten to the Resort around 9:15am to this...

Disney California Adventure still closed.  Looks like no getting in early today like the previous two days.  The gates finally opened at 9:30am

Looking towards the Carthay Circle Theatre

Seems like Grizzly opened up early.

As I waited for the rest of Disney California Adventure to open, I had noticed this outdoor vending cart. This used to be between the restrooms and smoking section.  Maybe the smell of the smoke was too much and moved across the street to this location.  There seems a big enough space for it too since this portion of the Little Mermaid queue isn't used.

Park opens and I rush to Mickey's Fun Wheel ...
