We knew Toy Story Land would be opening at Shanghai Disneyland, so we decided to stop and visit the Park on the new land's opening day.
But.. Toy Story Land wouldn't open until 1 pm. We didn't know how crowds would be for that day, so the plan was to get there at Park opening.
Well, it didn't go as plan. We did get there early, but we got there around 8:30 am, which was about 30 minutes after Shanghai Disneyland opened.
With four hours before the new land opens, this will be the first part of that day's pictorial, leading up to Toy Story Land opening
Since we were not staying on property this time, we stayed at a local hotel and was shuttled to the resort.
The bus dropped us off in the Shanghai Disneyland parking lot. From there, we walked across the elevated walkway to Shanghai Disneyland
Look how far everything looks from the walkway
You see the Castle, some of Tomorrowland with Tron's curved shell, and just beyond that is the half-pipe coaster, Rex's Racer

My friend got Lotso
Fast Pass machines are still there, but they are no longer in use.
In order to get a Fast Pass, you must use a mobile device like a smart phone

Then you go this way!!!!
FastPass is done in the same style of Disneyland.
Either your mobile device or ticket will be placed in there.
When it lights up green, you are good to go.
Scanning it again where they merge the Stand By and FastPass together

Or you can buy them individually or in a combo set

ShellieMae, Duffy, StellaLou, and Gelatoni
Inside this restaurant, there are themed dinning rooms
Because it was still early in the day, some of the rooms were off limits.
The Sweethearts Confectionery has "temporarily" become home to StellaLou products
Some Duffy, ShellieMae, and Gelatoni products can be found here or at the Whistle Stop Shop
I had seen these strollers throughout the Park. They look so much better than the usual strollers I see in America
Making our way to Tomorrowland
Inside the Star Wars Launch Bay, you can meet C3-PO and R2-D2
Darth Vader, Kylo Ren were also at the Launch Bay at their respected meet and greet sets
Baymax taught some exercise workout at the Baymax Super Exercise Expo like the Wasabi Arm Chop
It's just a little after 12pm at this point so we make our way over to Toy Story Land.
