Last month I had the lucky fortune of going to Japan. And of course, one of the stops was the Tokyo Disney Resort.
I was able to spend quite a few days there, visiting both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
I love staying at the Hotel MiraCosta Hotel, especially if the Aquasphere view is obtained. So far, this marks the 4th time staying at Hotel MiraCosta and the third time getting the Aquasphere view. The one and only time we had gotten the Park side view, but our view was that of the Hotel MiraCosta pool and the Venetian Gondola station.
Now, we have already been visiting the parks for a couple days already. I wanted to enjoy both Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland without lugging any kind of camera around. It wouldn't be until the final two days that I started to take pictures with something other than my phone.
Waking up, there are already people waiting to get inside Tokyo DisneySea
Nothing but the Aquasphere, the sound of the water, and the background music. It makes a truly magical morning
Oh, it looks like they are doing Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings
They are doing the MiraCosta Wedding Disney di Cuore
Shortly after photos are taken, they are ushered away. The Park will be opening soon.
For staying at one of the Resort hotels, we are able to enter Tokyo DisneySea 15 minutes before park opening.
A lot of Guests are already here
Safety first
Although Tokyo Disneyland is the the Park that is celebrating 35 years, Tokyo DisneySea is also acknowledging the 35th anniversary of Tokyo Disneyland
It's spring time here in Tokyo Disney Sea
After getting in, we decide to head over to Toy Story (midway) Mania.
We decide to get a FastPass for the attraction
As we walk by the entrance, we notice it is a 20 minute wait, so we decide to also get in line too.
The only times I have ridden this attraction at Tokyo DisneySea has been by utilizing the FastPass. So it was quite nice to get a chance to walk through the queue and see the giant size set pieces
After getting off the attraction, Tokyo DisneySea has just opened up for the day
A mad dash of Guests head straight for Toy Story Mania
This crowd goes all the way down the street with no end in sight
Because Tokyo Disneyland is celebrating their 35th anniversary, the Easter and Spring celebration has been focused at Tokyo DisneySea
Hello, Kitty!
Soarin' is coming to Tokyo DisneySea
Both Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland have Happiest Mickey spots.
Yup! That's how I am when I go on it.
What I saw at the end of this hall way surprised me
It's a restaurant!
The Casbah Food Court
Of all the times I have visited Tokyo DisneySea, I have never been inside here, until now.
Raging Spirits!
When I last visited Tokyo DisneySea in 2016, StormRider had closed and they were in the process of changing it over to the new Nemo and Friends SeaRider
We rode it two times and both times the scenes were different. That surprised us, because neither of us knew that each ride could be different.
Kind of a color contrast between the Aquatopia color scheme and the new Nemo and Friends SeaRider color scheme
Wow! 70 minute wait to meet Duffy
The Park is quite clean and there were a number of Custodial Cast Members standing around, waving to Park Guests
Remember Me, which is the Japanese title for Coco
Hopscotch play was seen in both Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland
Taking the Tokyo Disney Resort Line to Tokyo Disneyland
C-ya at Tokyo Disneyland!
Until Next Time...
