All we knew at the time was that the new land would be opening at 1:00 pm.
We walk along the parade route, to Toy Story Land, and there was a line up already for people waiting to get in.
We go it line for Toy Story Land
After about 10 minutes, the line began to move
They are ushering us to the other entrance to the land, where the giant Woody statue is.
I couldn't wait to experience Shanghai Disneyland's version. The only other Toy Story Land I have been at is the one at Hong Kong Disneyland, and I always have a great time in that land.

I enjoy going on the Hong Kong Disneyland version and hope to ride it here in Shanghai Disneyland
We continue down the line, along the walkway that leads to Fantasyland
What they were doing was filling up each row.
Then starting to the far left, they would let them go to the next segment, and then held them there.
Then, they let the next row up into the next segment, and then held them there.
They did that with each line.
What they were doing was controlling the flow of Guests entering the land, that way it wouldn't be a giant mess of people all getting in at once.
The first ride we do is Wood's Roundup, which is their version of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree at Disney California Adventure
From inside Jessie's Stable, there are windows that look out into the ride

Ugh, what's with the Slink Dog attraction?
It's the one Toy Story attraction I don't like doing at Hong Kong Disneyland, so I am not going to bother with doing it at Shanghai Disneyland
I love the section of train tack as a bench.
I used to have this as a kid and enjoyed putting the section of track together and then chugging the train along the track

There was a long line just to get inside the store.
We opted to skip it for the time being
The music for the attraction comes from the giant radio
We wanted to go on Rex's Racers, but the waits for the attractions were all very high.
And since this was the first day of operation, we thought we would just wait either later in the day, or the next day.

Overall, I enjoyed this new land.
Compared to the rest of the Park, the walkways do seems a bit tighter.
You know, I wish they had was the Toy Solider parachute drop. I think that would have done well here.
