Are you ready for all those people to invade?

Heading down Main Street USA

Once rope drop drops, I rush over to grab a FastPass for Big Thunder
On my way, a view of the Mark Twain.
Because Autopia is suppose to open after its 4 day refurbishment, I head over there, only to see that they were not open yet. I kind of wander around and walk between the Submarine lagoon and the Matterhorn.
That 's when I noticed...

wait.. is that?
No, it couldn't be.
...
But it is!

It's ASIMO!

ASIMO is back and he's making his return appearance at Autopia, powered by Honda.

What is this?
It looks like a bird is attached to something strange.
I guess I'll have to ride Autopia, powered by Honda to find out.

"A bird, that needs a contraption to fly?
I don't believe it"

A plank .. for those that want to rush and jump into the murky river

More rock work formations and trees in the back align the new Railroad route along the shorten Rivers of America

Some rebar being installed

Star Wars Land construction

At this point I have been checking the Disneyland Resort App to see if Autopia has opened.
After some time of checking, I see that it posted a 5 minute wait.
So I dash from taking pictures next to Big Thunder, all the way to Tomorrowland, to ride Autopia, powered by Honda.

FastPass returns enter through this side entrance

The cart that was being used for the Disney Vacation Club is now back to being used by the Plaza Inn

As people make their way to their first attraction, the band plays on

The Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout! as seen from Main Street USA

The Hollywood Tower Hotel / Twilight Zone Tower of Terror / Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout! color has been desaturated

Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout!

Looks more like it should be called Guardians of the Galaxy Motherboard: Breakout!
Cause it's looking more motherboard than power plant / fortress

Does this give it more of that 1920's vision of what the future would look like appeal?

Slim is almost camouflaged here as he resides near the restrooms

Time to take the Disneyland Resort tram to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure for some Star Wars Land construction pictures

Crowds are still coming in.
At least they have a majority of the security bag check stands open

I live quite close to the Disneyland Resort.
Close enough that I can see the crane being used for Star Wars Land
That will conclude Friday's visit to the Disneyland Resort
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
