It turns out to be one of the coldest days of the week.
Dipping down into the low 60's.
With jacket on, I make my way to the Disneyland Resort
The Parks didn't open till 9 am
So with time to kill, I made my way over to the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure to check out the progress of the soon to be new security bag check

Although trams were in service this early in the morning, I decide to walk.
My first stop would be Disneyland because I want to ride Big Thunder to check out how Star Wars Land is shaping up

With a 9 a.m. opening, there are a lot of people

Most Guests ran to get in line to purchase a limited number of hand made candy canes

They even had a photo op of putting your head through a hole in a flimsy candy cane cut out.
But because it was windy, it was hard to keep the candy cane upright

Some Christmas Time decorations in Frontierland

Big Thunder time!

It was so windy that it knocked over these barriers along the Rivers of America

Making my way across the Critter Country bridge, one can see some of the construction taking place just beyond the Hungry Bear Restaurant

One of many portable charging stations throughout the Disneyland Resort.
I was just amazed to see one on the lower level of the Hungry Bear Restaurant

One last look at the construction before heading out of Critter Country

Over in Adventureland ...

Disney's newest princess, Moana is doing a meet and greet in the old Aladdin's Oasis restaurant queue

They took our guns!

They took our guns

On loan courtesy of Lucasfilm Ltd., several props from Rouge One are one display inside the Star Wars Launch Bay

This years Candlelight narrator is none other than Ginnifer Goodwin.
She is best known for her role as Snow White on Once Upon A Time and as Judy Hopps in Zootopia

Making my way over to Disney California Adventure, it looks like a lot of people are trying to get in.
But looks can be deceiving as many of these people are not even near the main gate.
They seems to just be gathered here in the Main Entry Plaza

At the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, a hint of a new color scheme can be seen at the tip top of the Tower.

I choo-choo-choose you
Taking the tram back to the the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure

Gotta check out the Star Wars Land construction site

A couple more photos of the security bag check area

That will conclude Friday's pictorial
