Next week is Thanksgiving, so I won't be visiting the Disneyland Resort during that time. So today's pictorial will be a bit long. Hopefully this will satisfy your M.E. craving.
With Season of the Force officially started at Disneyland, that was my first stop this morning.
Wow, a lot of Guests coming in.
Let's see, they opened the gates at 7:45 a.m. this morning.
How much longer until 8 a.m. ?
Well, obviously this clock on Main Street isn't much help with the time.
This crowd is waiting for HyperSpace Mountain
Walking with the herd to HyperSpace Mountain
I decide to get in the middle queue so I can get a FastPass for the attraction
Right after, I get in the Stand-By queue
That was amazing with what they did.
Practically everyone coming back into the station was cheering.
So obviously it is a hit with a lot of Guests
Gonna ride it again with my FastPass
A montage of the Skywalker's path to becoming a Jedi
Taped queue for the Star Wars Launch Bay
Still got about 30 minutes before it opens.
So I will check out other things
The Chewbacca stein looks a bit silly.
Mickey's Toon Town ready for Christmas
Heading to Critter Country
Santa hasn't arrived yet.
Jack and Sally meet and greet at the Royal Courtyard
With so much Christmas decorations all over the place, maybe they should have called it
"Junk"le Cruise ha ha
It's a little after 10 a.m.
Time to make my way back to Tomorrowland for Star Wars Launch Bay
Those who are waiting to see either Chewbacca or Darth Vader are waiting on the left side of the entrance.
They will eventually be walked in small groups to the back of the building where the Meet and Greet is located
I am not wanting to see the characters, So I am being let in with those who just want to look around the other areas of the Bay
A store
To the second level
Vader's Meet and Greet
Chewbacca Meet and Greet
Meet and Greet for Spider Man
So fierce
Back down to the bottom floor to exit out
As I left, the Jedi Training Academy was taking place
Random selection once again returns.
The stage was not being use to bring up Vader or Darth Maul
So they came down the ramp (where the Storm Troopers come from)
By joining the Dark Side, we can eat as many cookies as we want!
A new updated Star Tours The Adventure Continues attraction poster
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale.
A tale of a faithful trip.
Where all the unused bread goes
Olaf's Snow Fest returns once again to Hollywood Land
A small stage is now in front of the snow courtyard
No more merchandise here in the corner
For Starbucks fans
Footsteps. Big and small
Leads to The Good Dinosaur display
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time....
(in 2 weeks)
Great trip report, as usual! Do you think the Tomorrowland Terrace stage will eventually go up and down again or do you think it will forever be in the down position?
ReplyDeleteThanks for another great update. The Santa meet and greet in Critter Country looks kind of sad compared to the former locations (cabin or outdoor location) at Big Thunder Ranch.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I will get to see Seasons of the Force, but the coolest thing in the former Innovations building looks to be the props and costumes and ship models from the movies. Don't know if you managed to see a great exhibit at the Discovery Science Center about four or five years ago about the Science of Star Wars -- really great stuff, with ship models, costumes, Luke's landspeeder from the first movie, Wookie and Sith costumes.
When I see the Christmas tree ornaments shaped like Starbucks Disneyland mugs, I think that people must really, really like Starbucks and Disneyland merchandise to pay money for something like that. But I'm sure people would say the same about the stuff I like to spend money on, so to each her/his own.
Apppreciate you blogging this
