Happy New Year to all my lovely readers! :)
Hope everyone had a great New Year's Eve
As for me, well, I haven't been feeling that great. I think it's the cold, dry, windy, having to get up at the crack of dawn, weather that has gotten to me.
But I was well....enough, to make it to the Disneyland Resort for my first visit of the new year.
Walking into the Main Entrance Plaza, noticing not a whole lot of Guests going inside Disney California Adventure...
...or going into Disneyland for that matter.
Yes! Maybe it won't be busy today
Continuing my Frozen Fun at Disney California Adventure
Final weekend for Christmas Time 2014 season
Good Morning Walt. Mickey.
First stop, Hollywood Land
We can see the line up on the right for the Frozen Meet and Greet with Anna and Elsa Return Time Ticket
I noticed that the Frozen Fun banners on either side of the street have been removed
As Guests make their way to the Animation Building for their Return Time ticket, I am heading in another direction
My first stop was to get a FastPass for "For the First Time in Forever"
Second stop... go check out Olaf's Snow Fest
Can someone tell me why this flag banner is not straighten out?
I mean, I would think it would be a simple fix. Something that could have been done before the Park even opened
Going inside to check out Olaf's Snowfest? Snow Fest?
Wow!
Very cool with what they did.
It's like a mini Arendelle castle courtyard
For your shopping convenience
For your hunger convenience
Sledding can be done inside Olaf's Snow Fest
Kids and Adults can enjoy a trip down the snow slide
That Olaf marshmallow looks scary
To see Olaf, one must get a reservation time. But unlike getting a paper ticket, you get a portable electric wand (similiar to what restaurants use when your table is ready) that will light up when it's your turn to visit Olaf
What I noticed that after a period of time, the Cast Members will clear out the courtyard so they can rake it. I guess to keep the ice from packing solid. Once it is all nice and soft again, they would reopen the courtyard
The fountain that Elsa froze when she ran away
Do you want to build a snowman?
Cause you can in the courtyard
Adults can have fun sliding down the snow packed slide
Do you want to build a snowman?
If not, you can always try building a snow castle
When you enter or exit the snow courtyard, you'll step onto a nice soft spongy matt
Speaking of snow...
It's snowing!!!!
Earlier in the week, I thought I would go check out Freeze the Night.
And boy did I freeze!
It was so cold
Guess which song she sang?
"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight...."
That's right, she sang "Let It Go!"
Because I had an hour to kill before the first showing of "For the First Time in Forever" at 10:00 a.m., I decided to run over to Disneyland
The doors were closed at the Royal Courtyard and I could hear the sounds of electric saws being used
The wreath in the window has been taken down
Checking out Arendelle from the comfort of a Casey Jr Circus Train car
Heading back out of Disneyland, cause it's almost time for my FastPass for "For the First Time in Forever"
The standby queue for "For the First Time in Forever"
This area will soon be filled with Guests waiting to enter
Luigi's Flying Tires was scheduled to close right after the holidays, but it has been pushed back another month to Feb 6, 2015
A lot of seagulls in the water
Daisy Duck greeting Guests at the Paradise Pier Gazebo
California Screamin' merchandise
What?
These still exist?
ha ha
Happy 2015 everyone!
The Parks are starting to get busy, so I think it's my queue to head on out.
That will conclude today's pictorial at the Disneyland Resort
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out

Until Next Time...
Great update as always. I just love the way you pick out the best things to photograph. I used to go every Sunday for almost 4 years but just can't do that much anymore. Need to find a better way down than bus. Train is OK but costs to much now. Sigh. Watch your updates to keep up to date on whats going on.
