According to news stations and weather apps, it was suppose to rain Wednesday night, through Thursday, all day Friday, and into Saturday.
Because of the rain, I wasn't sure if I would get to go to the Disneyland Resort to do my weekly photo because the last think I want to do is get my camera wet.
It did rain early Thursday, but around 8:00 a.m. I noticed that the clouds were starting to break. I kept an eye on them and when I saw sunlight, I thought that there might be a chance that I would be able to quickly get to the Disneyland Resort.
When I was told that there would be no more rain for today, I figured this might be my only chance to get to the Disneyland Resort as I didn't want to try for Friday
Made my way to the Disneyland Resort about 9:50 a.m. for a 10 a.m. opening.
Disney California Adventure has quite the demand getting in
The demand for Disneyland barely reached the Monorail beam
Inside Disneyland
Tulips in bloom
Stop and smell the tulips
From this distance, it looks as though the little boy is doing just that. ha ha
Tulips still wet with droplets from the early rain
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was having small Cast Member (only) previews
As I was back behind Big Thunder Mountain, Guests could see the Cast Members riding the attraction.
Because they saw "people" on the ride, they thought it was open :(
Looks like she is gonna do the "goat trick" ha ha
The goat must have been missed by many as the Cast Members smile as their train passes by
"Hey, I know you!"
Frozen Meet and Greet busy as usual
The rain had put a damper on the Tea Cups
But the Maintenance crew were hard at work, trying to get it open in a safe manner
Alice was also down due to rain. They were still sending vehicles around with the hopes that (at the time this picture was taken) the attraction would be open 30 minutes later
Because Guests saw the Tea Cups turntable spinning, some started to line up it
"it's a small world' still under refurbishment
New posters adorn the Finding Nemo wall indicating that the attraction will be back in the Fall of 2014

The Sailing Ship Columbia is full of passengers
It's sometimes still amazing how big this ship is when it passes by New Orleans Square
This girl was so worried about her hair ... at the end of the ride. She should have taken care of that before getting on ha ha
"May I see your ID?
Thanks"
Gentleman sitting by himself - "I don't see what the big deal is with this ride"
The guy running in the background was trying to catch up to the Dapper Dans
Just so he can get a picture of him in line with the Dans
"You there, Have a Magical Day"
A new exhibit inside the Disney Gallery of the Opera House.

I shouldn't laugh though as she reminds me of my mom and her phone. Just that I haven't seen anyone use these types of phones for pictures in like years
Redwood Creek was suppose to open, but the refurbishment had been extended another week
I guess some people wanted to get wet, weather the water came from the sky or from a flume
"Gladys, I thought you said that I would have fun and get wet. I neither had fun nor did I get wet"
I spotted this Frozen poster while walking through Big Top Toys.
I was curious to see how much it was selling for.
$39.95 + tax
I think $40 bucks is a big much for this.
I wonder how they will sell.ha ha
Well that will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out

Until Next Time....
