Only A Week To Go For Halloween Time 2013

It's that time of year when the Disneyland Resort is recovering from the Summer crowds, the attendance is low, and they are transitioning into Halloween Time.


Even though it's still a week away, the Disneyland Resort Mickey and Friends Tram Loading/Unloading is already advertising Halloween Time






The yearly decorations since 2006, which were used at Tokyo Disneyland during their 2005 Halloween season have been placed on the Tram route














As I walk towards Disney California Adventure, the weather is already heating up, but it was a breeze to get in




Got inside Disney California Adventure before the Park officially opened for the day




With today's weather, a treat from Clarabelle's would definitely hit the spot


The end of the line to get a Fast Pass for Radiator Springs Racers was just past the Carthay Circle Restaurant. That's how one can tell it is gonna be a slow day


Found out that today is Dapper Day at the Disneyland Resort








5 and Dime coming down the street.  They don't need a special day to wear their clothes. They are dapper 7 days a week










The window at the Hollywood Tower Hotel decked out with the usual Halloween flare




Although Disney California Adventure was light in attendance wise while I visited, Cars Land was still the busiest land of the Park

If you look closely, you may recognize the passenger (guy in black shirt) in the front seat ... Robb Alvey from Theme Park Review. Middle seat is his wife, Elissa, and daughter.
I was just snapping at the different scenery when these cars came over the hill.  I didn't think anything of it until I was going through my pictures.  At the same time, I saw this post on Twitter

Good news for those who are visiting Disney California Adventure mid-September...
Radiator Springs Racers was scheduled to close for a week for a small refurbishment dealing with the loading station and a few other things that need to be addressed
These plans were made months in advanced with everyone on board for the time line.
But somewhere, the ball was dropped when it came time for the refurbishment schedule posting, especially on the Disneyland website.
To avoid frustrated and angry Guests, who may ask for some sort of compensation for coming all the way to the Disney California Adventure only to be told that that one ride they wanted was closed ... for a week!
After all, the Disneyland Resort is still pushing Cars Land as the major draw.
So now Radiator Springs Racers will close in November, right after Halloween Time, but before Christmas Time.

And then when the train fully passes, the Indian Chief turns back to face the Rivers of America


He sure has been gnawing on that wood for a long time as a spider web has appeared under his paw
 


Over at the Haunted Mansion, it is getting ready for Haunted Mansion Holiday




















According to DisneyDose.com, the Court of Angels will not close, but will be used as a holding area for large groups waiting to enter Club 33

Inside the Disney Gallery, which is presenting an art showcase of the Enchanted Tiki Room's 50th anniversary, some new props were added to the glass cases.
