Woke up at 7:30am and it was already sunny outside. I thought to myself that it should be a beautiful day at the Disneyland Resort. I headed to the Disneyland Resort around 8:20am and with the sun already out, it was starting to become a bit warm. I almost broke a sweat.
Finally getting to the Disneyland Resort. I notice the signage for the attractions closed didn't mention California Screamin'. They closed the day before because of DOSH
Disney California Adventure was my first stop.
Waiting for the 9 a.m. park opening
Majority of Guests will be either in line for a Radiator Springs Racers FastPass or walking to Cars Land first thing
Earlier this week, Disney was hit with a fine from DOSH. And because Disney did not fix the situations months ago, they were, in a way, forced to close several rides due to not proving the required fall protection on some backstage areas. Soarin' Over California Adventure was one of the attractions affected. But those vising Condor Flats were happy to find that Soarin' Over California Adventure had reopened
Over at Paradise Pier, it sure is quite with California Screamin' down
Silly Symphony Swings
A California Screamin' Cast Member on one of the brake zones
California Screamin' closed
Over at the Cozy Cone Motel..
Little signs indicate which line is for which cone
Presidential order for flags to be half mast for the incident at Boston. Too bad Disney didn't do this for Annette Funicello's passing earlier in the month.
Market House is currently being renovated for the inclusion of Starbucks
Over at the Star Trader, create your own R2 unit
According to the Cast Member manning the Droid Factory, the R2 units you see displayed were done by Cast Members
Space Mountain closed so Disney can fix an important safety issue
At the Fantasyland Theatre, work continues for Mickey and the Magical Map
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad refurb
The Mark Twain is back in service. I like riding the Mark Twain more than the Columbia because it provides more shade
Work continues with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad's refurbishment
NNOOOOO! This area closed for the day. I assume it's because of the recent winds. Maybe it's not safe with all the branches around
Some posters appeared in the Fantasy Faire corridor that leads to Frontierland
I finally get a chance to turn the crank of Clopin's Music Box.
The Disneyland Resort Tram Cast Member pulls on the doors to make sure they are secure
Today's pictorial was brought to us by the letter ....
The letter "C" can be found at the begining of the words Construction and Closed.
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.
Until Next Time...
