It's just a little after 10am, both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure just opened, and this is the crowd I encountered in the Main Entry Plaza. Is it a holiday or something?
I mean, granted the weather was near perfect for a visit to the Disneyland Resort
Waiting to get into Disney California Adventure. The lines were a mess
The Guests facing left, that's one line to get into DISNEYLAND! Some of the lines for Disneyland stretched all the way to Disney California Adventure's entrance. What's going on here?!?!
Once in, it wasn't too bad. But as the day started to progress, more and more people started to show up
Grizzly River Run under refurbishment
World of Color with a mini refurbishment for the next couple of days
No cars racing at the moment
Radiator Springs Racers were having technical difficulties
Over at Flo's V8 Cafe...
It reopened after a small refurbishment in the kitchen area
Normally an outdoor vending cart would be here in Bug's Land
At least Guests are having fun on Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
"Why does Goofy even try flying"
"Someone should take his license away"
"Better not let Minnie here you say that. You remember what happened to Roberta"
"Oh yeah"
"Hmph, Minnie doesn't scare me"
"Girls, can we please focus on our act. Now, let's go fly a kite"
"Dreams really do come true!"
Five and Dime
Muppet Vision getting ready for a short transformation overlay for "Oz, The Great and Powerful"
Bedazzle...
and Bling, for your little girls
Year of the Hats
Hopefully the vintage car returns
I noticed that Buena Vista Street was relatively silent
No one queued up for Red Car Trolley
Does Red Car Trolley not operate on slow days?!?!
About an hour after opening, the lines to enter both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are almost non-existent
Valentine decorations in Town Square
This gentleman probably doesn't want to be reminded of Valentines Day rapidly approaching
Fantasy Faire
The spire to the rooftop is waiting to be placed upright
This little squirrel wants to see what's on the other side of the canvas
Taking a peek inside
A small peek at one of the bridges that lead into Fantasy Fair
Guests queuing up for "A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue"
Today was the last day for "A Salute..."
The chain is now gone from the second lift hill on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
It's a bummer when both Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Run are both down for rehab and the weather ends up being perfect for a little splishing and a splashing
Track has also been removed from the "earthquake tunnel"
Awww... these duck literally came up to this little boy until they noticed he didn't have anything. Then they wanted nothing to do with him.
Cinderella and Ariel
Belle in her new dress
It looks like they are heaving over the railing
"...Girls. They're ready for you"
Over at Goofy's Gas Station
Is this recent? Toon Up Treats with a fruit stand
Removed track from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Whoa! 20 minutes for Peter Pan!?
Uh, I don't think so. Probably more like 45 minutes
Pearly Band with Mary Poppins and Bert
Heading back to Toy Story Parking Lot
Cars were still coming in. Already parking in the Woody section closest to Harbor Blvd
And yet more and more cars were coming through. Don't they realize the parks close in 6 hours?
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Until Next Time...
