Got to love Southern California Winter. The past couple of days it has been very warm. We are talking high 70's, to mid 80's.
It was a great day to walk to the Resort
Getting to Disney California Adventure just after the 10am opening
The Paradise Pier Cast Members rejoice now that Disney Channel Rocks! is gone for good!
Last week I mentioned about a wall will be placed back in the pier, possibly near the Little Mermaid. Apparently it is for parade route pavement work
The Paradise Pier shops are starting to get their refurbishment. We will look a bit later, after a ride of Mickey's Fun Wheel
Picket fence around the perimeter of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
Cozy Cone Motel food stations
New lighting in what looks like the queue for Radiator Springs Racers
Little better view with the Cars meet 'n greet gone
With California Screamin' closed for technical difficulties, the line for Mickey's Fun Wheel was already towards to top of the boardwalk, with some of the extended queue being used.
The awnings from the Paradise Pier storefronts have been taken down
What a great view of the Little Mermaid building
Luigi's neon green sign installed
Carthay Circle Theatre
Buena Vista Street construction
Decorative iron work on top of the Carthay Circle Theatre marquee
The marquee is the only section still tarped
The crowds still coming in to Disney California Adventure
Heading into Disneyland now
Plaza Pavilio.... I mean Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
Today the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe "soft opened" since it officially opens Saturday
A look inside
The queue to get baked goods. Once at the door, the queue splits left or right
Details inside
Exposed speaker! ha ha. Doesn't really bother me. It was playing Mary Poppins instrumental music, which sounded nice
At the end of the queue, cool tile work
Cool old stove for the soups
Monorail time!
Matterhorn will be going under refurbishment next week for the installation of the new sleds and other work
No more straddling once the new sleds come
With the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe opened, the whole North West block of Main Street was closed for refurbishment and its transformation
Wish the lines to get into either park was like this
Looking across the Main Entry Plaza at Disney California Adventure's Buena Vista Street construction
More work in the shuttle area...
That will conclude with today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Also thanks for your patience
Until Next Time...
Thanks for taking the time to do these every week!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great day in Anaheim. I think Buena Vista Street and the trollies are the coolest idea. Lots of interesting photos!
