...a Disney fan went out to get some pictures.
Wow!
What difference a week makes at the Disneyland Resort
Last week the weather was cold and raining.
This week, warmer temperatures. Of course, with the warmer temperatures comes more crowds.
Locals who were planning on attending the Parks last week probably held off for a later time when the weather was in their favor.
And it looks like this weekend was it.
On this Friday, it started off quite windy. But eventually it started to die down as time went on.
Getting to Disneyland early.
The Park opened at 9 a.m.
Yes, 9 a.m. on a Friday.
Quite windy
The flags were flapping in the wind
Walking down Main Street, waiting for rope drop
First stop is of course Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
Take a look at this entrance, because soon it may look quite different
More on that in a bit
Star Wars Land as seen from Big Thunder
Star Wars Land rock work as you round the last bend before going into the exploding mine
As you exit, to the left, there is a wooden fence with some sort of building
The front of this particular building states Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
What could this be used for?
A few speculations are that it is gonna be the Fast Pass location for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
But I have another speculation.
My speculation is that it will become the new entrance to the attraction.
Are you saying that you will start over here and then work you way across the street and through the regular entrance that is there now?
No.
This object may be moved from this holding area and placed in front and act as the new entrance.

Another look at the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad entrance
A look at Star Wars Land construction
Just painted rocks for now
With Star Wars Land opening in the future, this fruit stand should moved elsewhere.
That way this walkway will relieve some open space for the amount of foot traffic that is suspected to visit the new land
Climbing Tarzan Treehouse to see what kind of view I can get
As I am up in Tarzan's Treehouse, it gives me an idea.
I need to be on an elevated platform to see if I can see over the wooden fence where the Big Thunder structure is being assembled.
But where can I get elevated?
That's it!
I'll go on the top level of the Mark Twain
As I snap some pictures, a Mark Twain Cast Member notices me taking some shots of the structure. He asks me if I know what that is for.
I acted like I didn't know and told him "no"
He told me that it will be the new structure entrance for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Although he didn't state when it will be installed, he thinks it will be soon as they seem to be almost finished with it. So we will see what becomes of this structure.
Valentines is in the air. Or high on the counters
Shouldn't the first coin state :
"Here you leave today and enter the worlds of Yesterday, Tomorrow, and Fantasy" ? I mean, that is what is stated above the archway as you pass through the tunnels of the Main Street train station.
At least they didn't put Walt Disney on the last coin.
Why?
Cause it was stated by WDI Tom Fitzgerald for EPCOT Center's Horizon attraction
Some of the "warehouse, fortress, power plant" as the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror transforms in the Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout!
The Lunar New Year celebration continues for another week at the Disneyland Resort
Some guys with sticks that really didn't do much except hit the ground with them a few times.
Look a mee-a.
Imma makin' a pizza
A long line for complimentary face painting
Can't beat free
Is that Pizza The Hut?
Lunar New Year billboards
Now it's time for Star Wars Land construction from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure
With the winds, it made for almost clear skies.
Just looking around while on the top floor of Mickey and Friends Parking Structure
You can see Knott's Berry Farm
And through the haze, you can see Los Angeles
Even the top level has preferred parking
That will conclude Friday's pictorial at the Disneyland Resort
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
