After a week away from the Disneyland Resort and spending it with the family during Thanksgiving, it was nice to be back.
Now, you may have realized that this pictorial is being published on a Saturday. I didn't have enough time Friday evening as I was out of town. I had just enough time to visit the Disneyland Resort during the day before I had to leave Anaheim.
Walking through Downtown Disney, I notice new banners
Disney California Adventure gets some recognition during the 60th anniversary Diamond Celebration for Disneyland.
And it's not just in Downtown Disney....
These flags are placed here and there throughout the Main Entry Plaza
First stop,
Disney California Adventure
Santa hasn't arrived for the day yet
Some frame work appearing where the Gazebo used to stand
Multiple vehicles are being testing at Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters
Video of the vehicles in motion taken from Mickey's Fun Wheel
The windows seem to be getting cleaned up a bit as they started to get this white film on them.
This sock being used as decoration at Grizzly Peak Airfield looks familiar.
The sock looks familiar because it is the same socks being sold in Humphry's
Disneyland time
Set up for Candlelight
Light strands draped across the Flower Market on Center Street

The flags leading up to Sleeping Beauty Castle have been turned sideways for some reason
With them sideways, they practically disappear and the whole Castle can be seen
Star Wars name tags being sold at Tomorrowlanding
A lot of Guests are waiting for Star Wars Launch Bay to open
Hmmm... I wonder what this says
... and this....
Aurebesh is everywhere
Did you know that this Cantina is not suppose to be THE Cantina that was depicted in Star Wars Episode IV?
This Cantina is suppose to represent Cantinas all throughout the Star Wars universe
BB8
Look inside the Tantive IV and you can spot a Hidden Mickey in the form of a Star Wars poster.
Another Hidden Mickey next to the staircase leading up to the second floor
Shortly after I exited the Launch Bay, the building was quickly evacuated
Guests quickly leaving the Launch Bay
While inside, I struck up a conversation with a Cast Member and was given these cool cards
These cards were just recently being handed out
Now it's time for a few night shorts of Tomorrowland during Season Of The Force
Would be cool if this thing spun around like it used to.
Light bulb light up Mickey Ears
The Flower Market on Center Street with the strands of lights draping across it
As I walked through Downtown Disney, I continued to walk to the Disneyland Hotel.
Walk around a bit, looked at the Big Thunder Mountain model in the Frontier Tower, then made my way towards the Disneyland Hotel lobby.
Gingerbread house welcomes Guests
As I was about to leave, some kids wanted their mother to see the little house.
Little house?
Curious, I eventually went over there to check it out.
And sure enough,
A little "house" was set up.
Granted, it's just the living room portion of it.
This is done in a very retro 60's inspired style
That will conclude today's ...er, um, yesterday's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out

Until Next Time...
The banners in front of the castle get turned each night for Disneyland Forever, so that they don't block the projectors. Looks like the Entertainment team forgot to swivel them back around after the previous nights' show!
ReplyDeleteOh! I didn't know they did that as I haven't seen Disneyland Forever from the Castle before. :)
