Ugh...
An overcast day
At least the Parks open up at 8 a.m. today
Our first stop is Disney California Adventure this week
Got to the Park before it officially opened
Looking at the entrance to Condor Flats / Grizzly Peak Airfield
Looking at the Taste Pilots' Grill
Gonna ride the Fun Wheel
Was this the pit that housed the Chernabog apparatus for World of Color?
Glancing at Luigi's Flying Tire. Although it's only been closed for 4 days, not much (on the outside at least) seems to be taking place
Painting is going on at Soarin' Over California facade
Mickey's Fun Wheel electronic Guest counter has moved.
They moved it pretty much next to the exit gate next to the swinging gondola (that faces Silly Symphony Swings)
World of Color refurbishment
Ariel's Grotto refurbishment
Luigi's Flying Tires has permanently closed
Scheduled to open up early 2016 as an all new attraction
Ha ha...
"Brake Dust"
How appropriate for a Cars Land refurbishment
A postcard from Luigi and Guido
One side of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is getting a refurbishment
The sign states "closed", but the door says "open" ha ha
Another look at the Taste Pilots' Grill building and it's repaint
Heading into Disneyland
If other Holidays can last longer than they should here, so can Valentine's Day
Disneyland has been open for 45 minutes and the street still looks barren
Spring time window display at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream parlor on Main Street U.S.A.
The horse photo bombed my photo
Visited Disneyland the night before during its last hour of operation.
The canvas is brightly lit up
Snow White's Grotto has gone under refurbishment
So, remember when it was announced that Disneyland will follow in Disney California Adventure's footsteps and implement a fast pass system for Fantasmic!
A lot of people on the internet mentioned that the area will look nice once again as the Fast Pass prevents the "campers" to hold spots hours before the first show.
Well...
... How is this any better?
They set up the Fantasmic! viewing hours before the first show starts
So the whole time, you are still walking in tight walkways.
This hasn't freed up any more space than the "campers" did.
The doors are closing
Will I be trapped in here?
Cause I don't see any way out
Castle time!
Riding on the Mark Twain
All aboard!
Wait... are they expanding on the Briar Patch store?
Toot! Toot!
Riding aboard the Disneyland Monorail to catch a glimpse of the transformation from Condor Flats to Grizzly Peak Airfield
Flower are blooming along the Hub's middle flowerbed
And back in Town Square...
Vehicular activity
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment.
Until Next Time...
Editor's note ; I totally forgot about the Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure. Oh well. Better luck next year
