Welcome to the Magic Eye Disneyland Resort Pictorial Blog.
Ticket prices may have gone up at the Resort, but it's always free to visit my blog.
No need to worry about me being all up in yo' face asking for donations to keep this blog running.
You do what you want.
So relax and enjoy as we walk around Disneyland and Disney California Adventure and see all that is happening around the Resort
Came to no surprise to many that the ticket prices have increase.
I just wish they raised it after all, or majority of the refurbishments had completed.
Stepping through the gates of Disney California Adventure
The picture may not show it, but it got busier as the clock got closer to 9 a.m.
Just by looking at the sheer volume, it was going to be a busy day at the Parks.
Some new nature has been planted.
I don't know if these are pine trees or another type of tree, but whatever species they are, they were recently planted
Making my way over to Mickey's Fun Wheel
Don't see any visible progress at Luigi's Flying Tires
Although it doesn't look like anything is going on just yet, they could be removing things we can't see, like the fans and the mechanics that flushed the air through the floor
I mentioned this last week, but I think it came off as a bit confusing.
The infra-Red counter turnstile was moved over by the exit gates of the gondolas.
Originally the infra-red counter was over here by where those Guests are. I guess it never gave accurate counts where it was originally, especially since they used the exit ramp as the stationary gondola line.
Now with the infra-red turnstile close to the exit gates, it should help quite a bit
I am amazed that it took THIS long to get it moved.
Paradise Bay with water again
What's different about this entrance?
Notice anything that's changed?

The wait time sign is gone.
And so is the Cast Member.
.
They have been moved back.
It's obvious that they are waiting for the permanent signage to be installed, as it's just one of those temporary signs at the moment.
I can't tell you how many times people would go through the exit of the rotunda, only to turn around and enter the correct way. Sometimes they would just hop the chains, which could be unsafe to do.
So by opening the rotunda up, it allowed Guests to come though any direction without any confusion on where the queue entrance is for the ride.
This should also help when it rains, when everyone is hurdled up in this area. Before, the chains would still be up and it just created a mess for everyone. With the chains gone, the cast member no longer needs to stand outside (under the umbrella) and Guests can wander freely.
Over at Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, the side closest to the parade route has reopened from it's small refurbishment
Speaking of refurbishments....
More work can be seen as horizontal paneling is being put up
Disneyland time...
Sleeping Beauty Castle without the tarps
It appears that a majority of the gold color enhancements has been removed.
Although less intrusive, I'm still not liking the whole pink and blue castle.
Every time I see the pink on Sleeping Beauty Castle, I think of...
Nara Dreamland's Castle
From gold to silver
Olaf!
He likes warm hugs.
Will someone give him one?
The only one waiting for the Monorail to approach
Looking at Condor Flat's transformation to Grizzly Peak Airfield
Tarps from the top half of "it's a small world" facade have been removed.
Not sure if the rain that is suppose to fall during the weekend had anything to do with it.
Looking at Sleeping Beauty Castle from the backside
And now the left side of the Castle
Critter Country refurbishment continues
What if there was a place. A secret place. Where nothing is impossible.
A miraculous place, where you could actually change the world.
You wanna go?
Heading home now.
That will conclude today's pictorial around the Disneyland Resort
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
