With the past week or so, the weather has been quite cool. And I get cold easily. But today, the weather was tolerable without a jacket.
Let's see what the Disneyland Resort has in store for us this week.
Starting at Disneyland
As I entered Town Square, I noticed hanging Christmas cards on the second floor of the Emporium
I want to say that I have seen these before, but it's the little details like these that what make Disneyland
Around the Market House, something from "old" Disneyland reappeared
Although a smaller version of its previous life, the Flower Market has returned to Center Street
But unlike the old Flower Market, where one could purchase flowers (that were fake), this Flower Market is just for show only
The Flower Market is Christmas themed
If you look to the right, the Flower Market leaves only a small path to the Lockers in back. And this little path also serves as one part of an exit and entrance to the Market House, which recently started serving Starbucks coffee
The left side path is blocked by the Main Street Fruit Cart (not pictured)
Image this small area packed with Guests during peak times
Will the Flower Market be temporary and just used as decoration during different times of the year? (i.e. Christmas and Easter)
Or will the Flower Market be permanent on Center Street?
Over at the Jingle Cruise, they have added some more Christmas themed decorations
The Bengal Tiger can be see with a Jingle Cruise Skipper hat hanging from its mouth
Don't mind the ducks as they don't seem to mind the elephant
In the camp scene, the gorillas because curious at the colorful paper wrappings.
So naturally they opened up what they could
What about Kwanzaa?!?
Over at the Haunted Mansion Holiday..
All 13 different Jack Skellington faces on the gingerbread house calendar can now be seen
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad still under refurbishment
Walking through Fantasyland from Frontierland...
An awesome new Dumbo themed churros cart!
And then there is this one over by the Matterhorn ha ha
Disney California Adventure time
For #LimitedTimeMagic, the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail once again gets a temporary overlay
The icons with the presents is where you'll find the gifts with a letter on it. The icon with the sack of gifts and sleigh bells indicates an "interactive" portion
The presents seem to be a foam box painted with ... wait, is that duct tape?? Although it resembles duct tape, it is just paint on the box ha ha
Looks like these two have made and Ever Lasting Friend ;)
I didn't do the Secret name badge as it was all kids and pre-teens in line.
But I later found out that my elf name would have been "M.M. Dandy"
A while ago Flik's Flyers reopened after a small refurbishment
The one thing I noticed was that the Cast Members open each carriage manually.
Previously the ride would slowly descend and one it got to the bottom, the doors would open automatically.
2014 merchandise is now being sold
Happy Hanukkah
That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out
Feel free to leave a comment
Until Next Time...
It isn't duct tape, it is paint.
