This morning I got up early so I could head out to the Disneyland Resort. I had this funny feeling to check my camera before heading out.
I had put the plug into my camera, but I forgot to plug the cord into the wall outlet! Ugh. And the battery only had 26 minutes left of a charge on. So I had to plug it in and charge it up. It took a little over an hour to charge it to 212 minutes of a charge (with a max of 224 minutes). I put on some sunscreen and was out the door.
Left for the Disneyland Resort around 9:30 a.m. and got there just before 10 a.m.
Walking into Disney California Adventure
An upside down Mickey
Ahhhhh
Almost blends in with the background
Radiator Springs Racers
Red the Fire Truck

Five and Dime was about entertaining Guests on Buena Vista Street

It led me to Disneyland
The sun is starting to come out and it's starting to get a little humid
Dapper Dan, who will once again be performing boy-band songs for #LimitedTimeMagic. Because once is not enough. I hope it doesn't become a regular occurrence after #LimitedTimeMagic
A line to get on the Horse-drawn Trolley. The people on the trolley just got on too. ha ha
But it's good to see the trolley in demand :)
Walking down the middle of Main Street U.S.A.

Yo-de-le-he-hoooo
If I just swing out a bit...
Maybe, just maybe...

If only my buddy knew how much my arms ache from that climb, I'm sure he would help me up and over.
Yes!! Made it.
And that's how you climb a mountain.
And now to celebrate the accomplishment of the climb...

With her outfit, she looks like she could be from a citizen from the City of Domes
Heading out, but first walking along Katella Ave because...
The back side of Radiator Springs Racers is getting redressed with camouflage tarps
Although it would have been nice for the rock work to have continued on the back side, the tarp is a nice cover up
Hiding the exposed steel structure of Cadillac Range
Hopefully it continues to the rest of the exposed structure.

I always look forward to your posts and pictures. I just love what you do!
ReplyDeleteThanks. :D
ReplyDeleteLove the Scary Movie reference!
ReplyDelete:) I had watched "Scary Movie" a couple days before and so it was still fresh in my mind. So when I saw the picture of the mountain climbers reaction, that particular scene from the Scare Movie (Brenda at the movies) instantly came to mind
DeleteBrenda screaming and commenting in the theater is the best part!
DeleteI look forward to your updates each Friday. Keep it up! :)
That's me climbing the Matterhorn! These pictures are the best I've seen, such hilarious and nostalgia-inducing luck to find them on a Google search. And your captions made me laugh big time. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome! I am glad you were able to find them. I still have the originals (without the signature watermark). If you want a copy of them, let me know.
DeleteThat would be amazing! I think a framed one for my parents might even be in order :D
